I'm in again if I can!

Managed to lose 2 lb in feb, so just have 5lb to go to my target. Hoping that this will be the month I finally do it as I seem to have spent my entire adult life wanting to be that elusive half a stone lighter. Given I'm now well into my forties, thats A LOT of procrastinating!

  • Have you used the celebrity slim before, I've been very tempted by this in the past, so if you have please tell all - is it just shakes? Is it similar to Slimfast?

    Thanks and welcome x

    Hi Newbeginning,

yes I have used it before and managed to lose 2 1/2 stones (2 of which I've since put on again:o). Essentially you replace two meals a day with the CS shakes and your third meal should be low carb. You can also snack through the day so long as you keep to the low carb concept, I used to eat tins of tuna, tomatoes, or atkins bars for snacks. It took me a few days getting used to it but when I did it was easy enough.

However, I got really complacent and started off eating the odd chocolate bar here and there which soon turned into more and more junk food - crisps and chocolate (the more the better) being my major weaknesses and naturally the weight started to pile on again.

Having said that I'm of the mindset now that if I did it before I should be able to do it again (well fingers crossed :D)

    Hth, xx
