  • I know I could definitely do with some motivation. I hate feeling sorry for myself, but I most definitely am this week! Seems like everything is going downhill since the wedding, and I want to give up, stay in bed and eat chocolate biscuits, indefinitely.

Oh well, another day another dollar! Or possibly the loss of my job, who knows :D

Hello :hello: I'd like to join please :D

I've recently told mr tru and the (adult) kids that actually, you're all grown ups now and don't need me to look after you :p So I'm putting me first from now on. Trouble is, I wasn't sure where to start :D I started thinking back to all the things I used to enjoy - mind you I was 18 the last time I could be selfish, lol. So thought I'd start with health. I'm not usually vain, so have surprised myself by thinking 'ooooh I'm not doing that while I look like this' :rotfl:

So here I am. I've just registered with Calorie Count, so Dragon, please add me to your list, thank you :D

    Hi Dragon

Please don't register my weight loss, my official weigh in is on Tuesday and I could do a lot of damage between now and then:o

Afternoon, had another good day so far. Porridge for breakfast, feta salad for lunch again - I know :rotfl: but I really do like it :D Dinner tonight, the OH and boys are having toad in the hole with spuds and veg, I am having sausages (we are all having quorn ones) and roasted veg - roasted in balsamic vinegar and herbs and spice. I shall miss the hole part of the meal and the spuds, but I am determined to get off to a flying start. I did a lot of digging and hauling of buckets of soil in the garden this morning too, and went to Asda with the kids, and when they got a hot chocolate from the cafe, I had a cup of water :j
