  • I can sympathise with you there Mr B with your DS eating you out of house and home. DD2 is the same, although he is the tiniest slip of a thing you would never know it ! I have no idea where she puts it all !!

Hope your DW is feeling better and you have a good week x

I have painted the hall and bathroom ceilings today. I have almost finished cutting in the hall walls for the first time. There are 6 doors.. :(

I take it you haven't discovered the wonders of Frog tape. I used it for everything in our house when I redecorated, much faster than cutting in and you get a really clean line. It sends shivers of delight through me just thinking about pulling it off.:D

I'm thinking about starting a blog on home insurance where I would post weekly, writing in plain English, about the various aspects of insurance and also put up funny claims.
Has anyone got an idea for a website address?

All the ones I looked at have been taken.
homeinsurance, homeinsuranceinfo, homeinsuranceinformation, homeinsurancehelp, householdinsurance. :)

I have no imagination whatsoever, but if I do have a flash of inspiration I will let you know

  • Bonnington you are a star :)

Take it easy with your hand. I know you have all this to do but pace yourself.

Don't talk to me about carbooter bargain hunters. If you offered them it for 2p they would want it for a penny...blighters :):)

  • You are a hard working man Bonnington. How is your hand today?
  • Sorry to hear that you are suffering Bonnington. I think you would need to give your hand complete rest.

Its tough when you see the figures going up again but as you say...sell the house and cut your debt by £13,000.

    Keep going :)
  • Have you been back to the doctor about your hand yet? I agree with sweetpea, it sounds like you need to give it a rest.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Hope the hand improves Mr B. don't overdo it..even though I know you have to use it some.

Spending your money on getting the house up together is the right thing..but I know it feels grim to be adding to debt. It's all for a good cause tho!
