Thanks for the Christmas greetings. I am just beginning to emerge back to reality. It is difficult to do things with youngsters that doesn't involve spending when you are out. Do they like walking? Mine used to be happy to go for a Christmas walk every year. Usually a longer treck than usual weekend walks. They remember and are now doing so without us but with friends. If they are not out door types do you have a cinema that does cheap matinees?business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi Bonnington, well done not putting Christmas on the cards. I've managed it myself this year for the first time in about 15 years!!
Sorry to hear you didn't meet the targets you set yourself last year - maybe they just weren't realistic. Anyway, we're heading into a whole new year so it's the ideal time for a fresh start. Best of luck for 2013 xLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

Lewis? Wow, you're brave! The people there are lovely, but I couldn't do island living, that's too remote even for me!
Fingers crossed for lots of bids on the dressesIs Mrs Bonnington looking to start selling something else from home that might eventually pay her enough to stop work?

Hello Bonnington
You posted on Christmas day that you were having a quiet day but you had already cooked the Christmas dinner. Your idea of having a rest is completely different to most people's I think!:D
Bonnington, in the new year could you not increase your hours at work and do fewer surveys? I'm sure your hourly rate is better at work, surveys take such a lot of effort for so little gain. I decided my time was better spent elsewhere, focusing on my job and getting promotions and running my home more efficiently, than spending 45 minutes and earning £1.50. It's a thought
Anyway, you are doing just great:T, you have managed not to let the debt increase in the face of adversity. I would be wary about taking on a financial liability like a B&B, especially in the current financial climate, but you know all that already.
All the best Bonnington and see you in 2013

Happy New Year Bonnington and really well done on the money you have made.
Im afraid my survey useage decreased massively towards the end of the year but hope to do better in 2013.
Best wishes to you and all the family
