Morning Bonnington
So sorry to hear that your hand is giving you bother, when will you see the doctor again?
I would recommend that you tell the Curry lot on the phone that you will be putting your complaint in writing too. That is absolutely disgraceful service. Don't let them get away with it.
Good news about the bus pass. Sigh of relief when that was found I am sure.
All the best with getting the house ready for selling and keep going Bonnington. You have had a tough few months with everything breaking on you and hopefully you will get a break soon.

I too like a Costa latte when I am at a train station..seems to hit the mark!
Hope you get some help from your GP Bonnington. Am in your gorgeous capital city this eve and raising a glass of Highland Park to celebrate..well seemed only right!! ;-)MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hello Bonnington, just dropping by to see how you're doing. You've had quite a lot thrown at you of late but you're always posting, I should really take a leaf. Good luck at the doctors tomorrow, and if the doctor says rest it, then REST IT:D (I know you won't though)

Moneymash - Thanks for the PM's. I will read them when I've finished writing this post.
Pinot, I assume you're wanting a coffee. :rotfl:
I've never tried flavoured latte.
I sat in Costa for about 30 minutes drinking my large latte and tuna melt all by myself, watching the world go by in the shopping centre.
When I got up to leave I felt so relaxed.
I had to buy some new clothes as mine are ruined. My jeans have been ruined by cleaning out the fire and other jobs. Most of my t-shirts are ruined with something or other, quite often oil from cooking.I'll have to start wearing an apron.
I was going to get clothes from Debenhams with the vouchers. Their jeans started at £40 and went up to about £95
I bought some socks with the vouchers but still have £15 left.
I bought the rest of the clothes in Primark. I had to buy some jeans for DS also. There were three pairs of jeans, four t-shirts and a fleece, all in the one large paper carrier bag.
I left Costa and was walking along the shopping centre when the handle ripped. I tried to fold over the top and it ripped some more. This lady suddenly appeared and offered me this large Lidl carrier bag. :T :j I was so grateful and couldn't believe it. Most people these days would ignore you even if they had a bag.
The bag smelt of something like white spirit but the clothes were still in the paper carrier so were ok. The bag was rather smelly on the bus but I was just grateful I had a bag.
So I had to spend money I don't have but I did look a mess with dirty clothes.
Tomorrow somebody is supposed to be coming to purchase DW's clarinet which is about 31 years old. That will be another £50.
Mr A is delivering tomorrow afternoon and phone call with GP is between 11am and 1pm.
I've spent ages completing surveys this evening. I will reap the rewards when I reach the withdrawal limit.
Mr B exactly the same happened to me last week in Primarche, but noone offered me a bag
You have got me wondering where my old Cello is ( never could play the damn thing !) I could probably get a few pennies for that !
An Apron sounds the way to go, although I refuse to wear them myself . Someone always buys me a dodgy looking Christmas Pinny each year though which I have to wear on Christmas Day !
Yep the Latte would have been lovely, but its getting late now so I will wait until tomorrow !! x:DLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Bonnington! Ironing! Your hand isn't going to better if you never rest it! Have you told the doctor how much you do? I'm not sure she would approve. Can't you leave it just for a couple of weeks, or better still, get everyone to do their own?

Hi Bonnington
I am so sorry to hear your wife is so unwell. Is it possible for her to take a few weeks off work?
Keep going bonnington with the preparation for selling your house.
Look forward to seeing your figures.0
