    Hi Bonnington

I didn't breathe a sigh of relief at all. I thoroughly enjoy keeping up with your posts but its not nice to read that you are having needless hassle. Persevere with Curry's and Santander.

Little tip to make mince go a bit further, put a spoonful of porridge oats in to it and they will never taste the difference.

How is your daughter enjoying Uni? Mine is loving her course and all the craic. :)
  • Mr B,

I am still really enjoying reading your super long posts ! We have alot in common on the rambling front I see !!:D

So sorry to hear about the nightmare you are having with Stagecoach , sounds like you are having a fun time at the moment.... not !

You mentioned about needing a new oven. Have you thought to have a look on eb@y ? I only mention it as you may have read over on my diary in the summer that Mr Pinot acquired a lovely shiny dishwasher for me, which was an absolute bargain. I now need a new oven also, actually I have needed one for ages and I am going to have a hunt on ebay for one. It might be worth a look and could save you some money int he long run.

Keep rambling Mr B, thoroughly enjoyable.:D

  • Happy birthday, hope it's a good one :)
  • If you've got a proof of posting (they usually print out automatically on the receipt) then you can claim :) The Post Office will give you a form and you can get up to £36 back. You'll need to attach a screen print of the eBay sale to prove the amount owed.
  • Mr B, I missed your birthday !! I'm sorry !!

Hope you had a really lovely day though, but how on earth are you managing to steer clear of the cake ?!

How did the Purple Hair dying experiment go last week ?

Glad to hear that your daughter is enjoying uni ! I wouldnt be too keen on the boyfriend though, I will be keeping my daughters locked up for as long as possible !! :rotfl:

Enjoy your time off of work, try not to rush about too much x

Well I've just sat for hours reading all of your posts from the beginning!:rotfl:and I must say, that you are truely determined. I now you've had it rough and not had much luck, and at times felt low about it all, but think how your life would be if you had not been doing all of these small changes?...moving debt around, food budgets, surveys, DIY, ebay etc. It has been truely motivational. Thank you.

Yeah it soon adds up! I've recently changed jobs and work 2 min walk away from asda. I nip there at lunch time just to get out of the office for 10 mins and end up buying bits and pieces!

I will write 100 times, I must try harder.
Did you do this?:rotfl:It may stop you buying coffee at work if you actually did this each time!!!!

Right....back to my own life now :rotfl:
