    Well. A busy day.
DW was awake at 5am and I stopped breathing whilst asleep with my illness. She poked me in the side which woke me up. I didn't realise why she poked me, I thought I was snoring. So I have been awake since then.

 that must be really scary for DW..i suppose you don't know your doing it so wouldn't bother you but i'd panic good & proper if DH just stopped breathing  i hope you get an appointment soon!

Took the car in for the headlight bulb to be replaced. Total cost of jsut over £37. Got a free muffin from Costa on my card, although I did pay for a coffee.

:T to the free muffin, booooo to these cars! they cost us a fortune eh!
Now to put a smile on your face but I think you'll lol.
I got on the bus at the usual stop to go back to pick up the car. It started going a different way. I thought I must have gone on the one which goes past the hospital and not to the garage. I thought I would get off at the hospital and catch the bus back. Unfortunately this wasn't the bus for that either. Thankfully my phone has a built in satnav. Ended up getting off over a mile from the garage and had to walk a bit to catch the bus back into town. Waited the stop and a bus came which wasn't mine. The bus stop cleared and I checked the timetable. They changed all the buses ladt november and the bus routes have changed on the same number bus and also the bus stop has changed. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Had to walk round the corner and find the correct bus. This wasted an hour. Perhaps I have learnt the lesson to look at the bus number and route from the front as there is nothing on the back of the mini bus. :rotfl:

:rotfl: your right that did make me laugh :rotfl: more so because when i used to have to catch buses & trains i was always doing this!
Had to go to Pets at Home although had a 10% voucher to use.
Then had to go to Boots at home and pick up a parcel. This contained three half price Christmas baskets. Bought these for next Christmas although DW is talking about using them before then.

Spent this afternoon painting the hall. Things left to do are clean paint off skirting board and floorboards. Varnish floorboards, doors and surrounds and floor. So hopefully it should be finished on Saturday, although the floor needs three coats.

I think I need to get to BMI and a way within the range. I also need to exercise, like I was told last year when I was admitted to hospital with chest pains. Not certain if I mentioned that I found that part of one of my lungs has died and obviously will never work again.
I get out of breath walking up stairs or hills. I did start to walk to the bus station, but this means I have to catch the later bus. I am not keen on this bus as sometimes there are strange characters on it. If I catch the bus into town I may be able to catch the earlier bus.

We do have a cross trainer and an exercise bike. I did start to use this for a while but then stopped again. Trouble is, getting up on a normal work day when I have to bus, means getting up at 5:30am. By the time you get in about 6:40 or 7:10 and have tea you don't feel like doing anything else. :(

:oI would be the same. In fact I don't even go out to work but after kids are in bed the last thing i want to do is exercise :o so am trying the healthy eating approach instead........i.e no more chocolate in front of the t.v every night :D

It's not quite so bad in the summer when the evenings are light. This time of year it gets dark just after 4pm and in the height of the summer about 11:30pm.

We have run out of wood for fire, apart from a bit of kindling. Using just coal but it takes a while to get going. Only have two bags of coal and just over two bags of dross left. Wish I had never bought the dross. I bought it because it was about £4 cheaper per bag. I try to mix it in but it will take a while to use up.

I suppose I ought to stop waffling before I bore everyone. Anyone still there? :rotfl:
Just having a glass of wine whilst typing this and then need to check emails and surveys.

:rotfl: i love long posts (can you tell by my diary haha) & as for exercise you should by you & dw a tandem bike.....humour & exercise all in one lol :T

Ended up buying fish and chips for tea, I know we can't afford it. It was 5:30pm and tea wasn't started on. DW went with DD to Tesco and bought some bunches of flowers for DD's friend's mum who lost her husband yesterday and also the three girls.
The scary thing is he was about my age or slightly less. He appeared to be about two or three stone overweight. Apparently he was due to go to the hospital in a few weeks and an operation on his heart. It appears he had a heart attack while out with his father in the major town and died.

DW got the results of her blood tests. She has to go back and have some more done in a month. Her blood sugar level is higher than it should be and a couple of liver tests were a bit abnormal. I know nothing more than this.

DW has banned any more crisps/sweet stuff in the house. She is concerned about diabetes. Perhaps this is the key up the back I need to get myself in gear.

Back to work today. Had one day off and go back to 27 emails. Had to wait until the middle of this afternoon to get a new monitor as the screen was flickering all day.

Took lunch and ate it at 10:30am and then had to buy lunch. :(

nothing else really to report today.

Perhaps the healthy eating will help you to lose a few lbs as well as help DW to get better :T so all good, you seem to be having a few rough days, i hope things pick up for you soon :A

I have sent them an email to see if they will credit me with the points.
I'm not holding my breath. :(

What a pain :(. I hope you get awarded the points as to work on it for 35 mins and then lose it is :mad::mad:!
