I think I must be getting into the spirit of Scrooge. If I go through to the kitchen and the boiler is on, I go and turn the thermostat down so the boiler goes off.

oh i fell out of love with BT years ago and refused to use them ever again ( I can be very stubborn when i want to lol)
Good luck with getting out the contract happy!
And just think Bonnington the hall might only be half completed. But that means only half a job left to do...you'll get there and will be proud when it's all done. At least it's not the spare room, which you could spend weeks on and then never look at again ...with the hall you will be walking through it every day admiring your handiwork so keep it up

Good news for you is there is only a few more days left at work this year :T

the colds seem to be doing the rounds don't they
! I went onto my facebook yesterday and turned green with envy my friend is some lovely hot country for xmas avoiding all the chaos here, and the cold weather........i've decided when i'm debt free i shall save for a hot christmas (eventually) !!
That sleep condition doesn't sound good  but if you can get a diagnosis and sort out some treatment that would be great, you'd feel like you have energy when you get up i guess! I too can have 8-10 hours of solid sleep & still feel tired, mine is usually down to low iron levels though (even when on tablets my body doesn't seem to retain the iron) so i know how you feel regarding always feeling shattered....i hope you don't wait too long for an appointment
regarding your wife and thinking she is pregnant :rotfl:my hubby also had the snip and i was convinced i was pg last yr i felt awful and the only time i had ever felt so bad was when i was pg....thankfully i wasn't lol but it's funny how you can convince yourself of something :rotfl:

Hi Bonnington
Sounds like you're making good progress on the hallway, bet you'll be pleased when it's finished
Hope your cat settles down. We're still having a few issues with our cat being sick, he's going to be kept on meds indefinitely, but luckily the tablets are not expensive, about £3.50 every three weeks.

Sorry to hear the cat is misbehaving
I am awful the next day if I have had broken sleep.
I really need to decorate my hall stairs and landing, it has grubby marks at differing levels up the walls as my daughter has got bigger and bigger (why I didn't paint it in silk so I could wipe it down is beyond me) But it just seems like such a mahoosive job I never want to start it
Just keep swimming!0
