I paid £140 for mine and they are now different and selling for £50. Do you think I should email Vodafone and cheekily ask them if I can have a refund for £90? I have returned something costing £140 and received something worth £50. ;)

I just need Vodafone to get my online account to work now and then hopefully I should be happy with the service.

I have still not updated signature yet.

DFW - I have taken on your challenge, from a week or so ago, to decorate the front hall by Christmas. It is nearly plastered, although am trying to plaster the bedroom also.

Worked out monthly figures today, breaking everything down monthly. Holidays, MOT, road tax, etc. Discussed with DW and advised we have a little spare money at present, but come May when DD becomes 18 and goes to university next summer we lose quite a lot of Child Benefit.

I would definitely ask vodaphone for the money back, they can only say no ;)

I really hope you get the hall finished (and the bedroom) :T having a nice decorated home makes it all feel worthwhile when we have to strap the wallet so tight! (not that i would know, i have to keep my house magnolia as it's not mine!!)

Can you not claim for DD until she is 19 if she is in full time education? Or am i thinking of another type of benefit

    I hope you've had a good day :D

  • Hope work is ok for you today Bonnington.

I feel your pain re email. I'm constantly bogged down with email at the expense of other more important jobs. It just seems to be a method for certain people to offload the things they can't be bothered to do .

  • :D Hi Bonnington,

Good news about overtime :) shame you won't get the pay before new year though. Hubby is getting a payrise this month which should go onto Jan's pay, but we've just heard they probably won't get it on there till feb's pay. I love it if they have overpaid us they are hell bent on getting the money back immeditely but if they owe us we have to just sit around waiting till they decide to hand it over! So feel your frustration

Things will start to look up come Jan you'll see, December must be hard for everyone with the extra costs. Are you saving towards your next MOT & Tax monthly from now on? We have a post office card where i pay my tax money onto and it's been a life saver as we never ever have enough to pay it when it's due :o i dread to think how much is on credit cards & loans due to the blooming car! anyway i digress, as i do.

I hope you have a lovely evening once the kids have been picked up :)
