How are finding Ebaying? I have a few items finishing tonight, one has bids. Have a few more finishing, no bids just watchers!

What kinds of things are you ebaying? I am creating a pile of things for Ebay as I declutter. Considering putting the DH on there but I am not sure what kind of price I would get ;)

Another 10 items listed on ebay :-) so thats 28 in total now - what else can i find?
Just going to have a little break and a brew and do the washing up before i have another hunt .
Really pleased i have decided not to go to the bank and consolidate my od into loan as i think it would have been a mistake - just taken longer to pay off. Plus i have another 2 bank accounts opening soon so i can transfer money each month and know what i have to live on instead of obsessing over od in current account - so complicated!!

ha ha!! thats funny:) one item sold yesterday, one unsold which i will keep relisting! all sorts of things really - clothes (but only good quality ones/decent makes), jewellery, some electrical/gadget stuff sells well. to be honest it just depends who is looking to buy what that week! i often have to relist but i find that so long as you are completely honest with items - even mentioning a little mark on a bag etc then they still sell. its amazing what people will buy!!:) i dont have children but know thats kids clothes/toys sell well.

  • morning :)

I am glad that you have decided against the loan as this would increase your indebtedness as they would give you the loan plus then encourage you to take out a little bit more as a 'cushion' plus with the interest you would be paying it back even longer.

Plus the only way this would work is if you cancelled the overdraft, but banks have short memories and would no doubt give you another which then leads to having a larger loan plus an overdraft

Your doing the right thing by having a clean bank account, pay back what you can each month to the overdraft, but ask them to reduce the overdraft each time before too long it will have gone....especially if you use the ebay funds too to clear it off...:T

Yeh - will get there eventually!!
Everytime my OD gets lower I can decrease it myself on online banking and would be charged to increase it again so that should stop me!!!!

Get ready for some nasty looks. I remember when we had one of our cats done, he gave us the cold shoulder and some 'how could you' looks. But he got over it in the end :D
