hi, and welcome to the boards, you're amongst friends and a lot of people who know what you're going through.
Good luck for tomorrow, if you get everything ready tonight, clothes, packed lunch etc you wont' feel as stressed tomorrow morning.

i think the key to this journey is to accept that it's likely to take much longer than you want it to, therefore don't be dissappointed if it's not going fast, and don't be too ashamed to come back if you feel you've blown it, we've all done it and therefore understand.
    good luck

    Hi Miaow

Just read your diary and will be subscribing :D. I am 30 this year as well and just dreading it. I like being in my 20s too much ;).

I hope today is going well for you.

    Emz xx
  • Hi Kei, Lemon Tree and Emz and thanks for the messages :-)

So first day back at work - 9 till 1 - actually was really good, everyone was nice and its as if i havent been away! Im not doing my full job description at first but being eased in slowly and everyone is being supportive. I couldnt have asked for it to have gone better really.
I had got myself organised last night so I was all ready this morning. - so braved it with a big smile, makeup and nice outfit and before i knew it it was lunch time! I could have left at 12.15 but stayed for lunch with colleagues in the canteen (spent £1.69 on sandwich and drink but feilt it would be good to go).

couldnt believe how tired I was when I got home from just a few hours work but guess thats down to my depression and medication - on a good note my meds are being decreased :-). My headache is also much better today but still taking prescription to get rid of it completely.

Then had counselling session later in the day which went well - feel loads better than even just last month.

So next at work Weds morning - fingers crossed all goes well.

Also it is PAY DAY !!!! plan of action this month is to decrease my overdraft - using my 0% cc for purchases as getting charged for OD.

I am allowing £50.00 per week for spends (hopefully i wont need this much).

Petrol and food shopping be seperate. I am keeping a log of food shopping as not totally sure how much i spend. Also going to try and use up food I have.

hope everyone is okay - just having a good catch up on the soaps:-)
    xx

Hi MiaowMiaow - I'm glad you have the type of employer who is prepared to give you some leeway with working hours to get you back, so many seem to say if you can't do the hours then leave :mad::mad::mad:

    Good luck with everything

hi there miaow. well done on realising you needed to sort out your debts before it got too silly. Sorry to hear that 2010 was such a tough year for you. I am sure that 2011 will be better. Good luck with moving forward

    thanks Dragon :)
I am really lucky with work especially with the way things are at the moment - if i couldnt have had the time off who knows what would have happened.
  • Thanks Little Boots,Dragon and Chev :-)

Here's to 2011 being a better year!!! for us all :-)

I forgot to mention before that I now weigh myself every monday morning - i did go to slimming world but didnt like the classes and cant justify the money every week.
So this morning I was 12st 5 3/4 lb - the same as last week which im really disappointed with as was really good last week.
this resulted a chocolate binge before counselling , not good :-( but fresh start again tomorrow. My ideal weight is about 9st 7lb but small steps...... I am 5'5 so that would put me at a much healthier weight.

Bought a dress today from Steals - £2! bargain - ideal for summer or now with leggings.

Going to do some baking tomorrow to take cake into work and also for my brother instead of buying stuff in. Will try to make some chilli etc to freeze too.

    Hi Miaow

I'm glad that today went well for you. I remember what it was like after long periods of absence when I worked in an office. It does make you feel exhausted. Take it easy tomorrow.

    Emz xx
