I'm afraid as the OP I am feeling rather to blame for this although I know I shouldnt be as you would expect better things from a company such as Asda

I received part of my order which I have just collected from the Parcel depot, 2 mugs and I have to agree they are appalling. The pictures are not on straight and they are faded towards the edges.

There is no way these can be used as gifts as they are embarassing.I have just sent an email to CS.....lets hope it goes to Asda though and not this "tinpot" company.

Don't be stupid - it was a great spot, how were you to know what the quality would be like? Hopefully the problems will be sorted & either a replacement or refund will be offered so that everyone's happy :D

had mine delivered this morning and out of 14 mugs 4 were broken I have to post them back (at my expenses! although I have been told i will get the money back) they were very badly packed not bad quality for £1.50 wouldn't have paid any more than that not had the mousemats yet either
  • I received the photos a few days ago, very poor quality...i received 6 cups today, all of them are faulty, one photo is fine the other is wonky and the edges of some of the photos are not printed correctly. I am really annoyed, i know they were only cheap but that's not the point. They weren't cheap because they were faulty......they weren't advertised as seconds so they should be perfect....

Just off to write my email of complaint!!!!
  • just a thought  ....I'm still waiting on my 2nd order and the parcel postie has already been today so I'm wondering (or hoping :) ) that this company who is doing the printing on behalf of Asda has maybe had a telling off (polite) and are now taking their time and processing the orders with a bit more precision and care....or even Asda might have changed suppliers....

........or am I just living in dream land :wall: :)
  • PO tried to deliver two parcels to me today but I wasn't in so will have to pick up from the delivery office tomorrow.

I ordered a couple of mugs for us as the photos wouldn't go on the mousemats so if they aren't much good I won't bother sending back but the mousemats are for gifts so I hope they are okay. My prints were fine, quite happy with them.

To the OP, it could well be that only the people with complaints are posting here as is what usually happens so hopefully people who are happy with their goods will also post.

I had my Mousemats yesterday and was really pleased with them.
However, the Mugs - a different matter. They arrived today. All the pics on them were either wonky or badly faded. Very disappointing. I have fired off the appropriate email to customer services and hope they can do something about it. As to the picture itself - I agree that they were very small compared to the size of the Mug. Pretty poor for Asda.
Don't blame yourself though, OP. It is not at all your fault - no-one would ever blame you and we are all grateful that you took the time and trouble to post in the first place!
Gone off Asda though ... !
  • Received this today.

OP: please dont feel bad. I thought it was a great offer - although got disappointed when they finally came - ordered 10.

the quality on some is really bad. (i know a fair bit about imaging etc its my field - so i knew how to get the best pics on the mugs, sizewise)

but, the fading etc was a big let down.

although delivery was fast - 5 days
