Every - I mean every - digital snap you take does need to be colour corrected before printing - makes a world of difference.

SOME photos might need colour correction.. Or perhaps your camera isnt very good? :)

I have developed photos on paper, greeting cards, photobooks, mugs and calendars and very rarely do the pictures have the wrong colour, etc.. Thats what you get when you use a Canon camera. ;)
  • Received my mugs this morning. One of the mugs has a major flaw with one of the pictures (the picture on the otherside is fine). The other mug I ordered is OK (well for £1.50 anyway), but I would've been very disappointed had I paid anymore for it.

I was thinking of ordering one of the canvas frame prints, but if this is the quality I can expect I won't bother.:(

I'm sorry but you are wrong.

You will rarely get perfect colour from a digital camera - that's a fact.

Digital images usually suffer from red or blue cast (that's 'tint' to you) - if you don't colour correct the output will never be satisfactory.

PS Canon's okay, almost as good as Olympus ;)

  • Cheap they may have been and doesn't it show

The mugs I received are a joke! The pictures are all faded on one side and some of the look like they have been put on by someone after three bottles of red!

I will never order from ASDA photo again, they are a joke. Its only a bargain if you can use them. Email to CS on its way
    Nice to save.
  • I'm afraid as the OP I am feeling rather to blame for this although I know I shouldnt be as you would expect better things from a company such as Asda

I received part of my order which I have just collected from the Parcel depot, 2 mugs and I have to agree they are appalling. The pictures are not on straight and they are faded towards the edges.

There is no way these can be used as gifts as they are embarassing.I have just sent an email to CS.....lets hope it goes to Asda though and not this "tinpot" company.
