OMG I am losing the will to live. I am STILL listing on ebay. It's taking an age.

Had to rescue the cat from our fir trees at the end of the garden  She was out there a while and went calling for her. Heard a load of squeaking and found her in the trees. Honestly have you ever known a cat so pathetic at climbing :rotfl:

Well, I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself. Had about 1/2 cupful of mince, added some cubed spuds, handful of carrot bits from freezer, onions, wee bit of gravy. Managed to make 11 decent sized pasties with just that. Amazing what you can make out of very little when you have to!
And I found a handful of blackberries and a wee tub of stewed apple from the summer. Got an apple and blackberry crumble in the oven too. Small, but by the time I add custard...... and there was me thinking I had no food. LOL

    Hi again

For those of you trying to figure who is who on FB this could be useful, and there is also another post inside discussions which could help (or confuse even more) ;)

Mummysaver - doesn't look like I have you as a friend either, you will spot me with my DH on the above link. I have to do it for both of us as he never touches a pc.:D:D

Well friends dropped at the airport, back and chilled this p.m. then Beans and Egg on Toast for tea, followed by a bit of cake. As we only have a week left, will be using up anything we have in whatever way we can :o:o

Out to a neighbours for drink and nibbles  this evening, it will be a multi cultural evening as I know our Norwegian neighbours are going too, we are from "up norf" and the hosts are cockneys.

It has been glorious weather all week, but we do have a spot of rain forecast tomorrow evening

    Take care all. DG

Stripped the bed and got it out on the line (had to rescue the quilt cover as it nearly blew away). It has nearly dried so a few hours on the racks should do. Also deep cleaned the downstairs bathroom and hoovered all through. It has been the first sunny and breezy day for a while so all the doors and windows were open for a few hours until it got a bit chilly. Now have the fire on and am sat under a furry blanket!
Think I have a cold coming on along with a cough so going to chill tonight. Actually can't wait to have a bath and get into my lovely clean bed!
Rosie I am impressed with your pasties, as you say it's surprising what you can do with nearly nothing!

Have a good evening all. Take care. XX

Evening all, and happy birthdays and hugs where appropriate!
Havent been around this week, went back to work on monday, and the 2 days wiped me out, have been absolutely exhausted all week, I finally caught up on some housework and shopping yesterday and will tackle the ironing tomorrow when OH is watching the footie and rugby. Thanks to some moneysaving tips on my shopping and on the buffet for DDs birthday party I managed to give the travel agent over half the money for this year's holiday, rest is due 24th march so will need to carry on watching the pennies to make sure I have it as its the week before payday, mustnt complain, at least we are still affording a holiday !
Oh well, think I must go and declutter a glass of wine to wind down, OH has been in the mood from the dark side today and have had a few choice words, hes gone to bed for a sulk so I will have the remote control to myself!
    RIP Iain
