lol @ taplady! Often I have to think really hard between how people appear on mse and how they are on fb, the mental image I've conjured up doesn't always match the real life pics for some reason!

Right off to get dd1's belly button pierced, investigate teasmades (since nobody is applying for the job of morning tea maker, and I'm sooo sunny first thing that I just can't understand it!), and stock up on flour and sugar whilst they're reasonable prices in Mr T's!

I get confused sometime about who is who :D and you're right sometimes the picture we have in our minds of somebody is nothing like the way they actually look!

    Morning! :hello:

had to pop in to say Happy Birthday to Halight and Smokybabe :bdaycake::bdaycake:

Big ((((hugs)))) to all in need of them especially Bargainbird atm :mad::mad: and everyone who's ill atm or unhappy for other reasons.

Really is time i got dressed, but DH still asleep and don't want to disturb him as he's in a lot of pain atm so will wait a bit longer - frustrating though, i never feel i can crack on with things when i'm in my pj's :p

Been trying to keep up with my new Open Uni module, it moves on a bit too fast for me but I just (hah! "just", she says!) need to spend more time studying and less doing other things. I keep forgetting I'm meant to be taking notes, not just reading :o

flutterby - I have great fellow feeling for you today. Last night i dreamed i could only think of 2 lines to write about Cleopatra :p

Yet more washing to do today, not sure where it all comes from!

The cat that moved in with us last month keeps trying to lead me back into the kitchen for some more food, but I know he's full up as he just burped:rotfl:

Those of you who are regretting not having travelled when you were footloose and fancyfree - hopefully you'll be able to do it later on instead, like we did. We've been to New Zealand twice, won't be able to go again but are so glad we did it.

    Have good days, all xxx
  • Morning all,

Raining here :(:( No washing on the line today but at least its not cold with it.

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Halight and Smokybabe

Went to a birthday tea yesterday. My friends youngest was 3. Myself and DD went in the afternoon and helped with the decorations and party food....got home 10pm! We cracked open the wine and things just rolled from there :D:D -no we werent drunk in charge of children incase anybody is worrying!! Really really wonderful evening. Feeling quite tired today.
Off to my other friends later. The kids can run crazy and we'll chat with tea and cake, will have a sandwich for lunch before we go but will have tea there.
My 'new man' is coming over for wine and a film this evening so will have need a quick tidy up....me not the house :rotfl: I get terrible butterflies whenever he calls or even texts :A Its been a while since i felt like that, very strange! Its all very hush hush while we see how it goes so that adds to the excitement,my best friend is the only one who knows and she is like a kid at christmas!!

    Ooops waffled on a bit there-sorry :o:o.
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far and that it continues.

Mummysaver.......it's just wonderful when you feel that first wee kick. Enjoy!!!

Morning, hugs and Happy B'day to all who need, want etc. Flying visit as have hardly any food left til the end of the month ( I know it's just 3 days away, but I literally have got hardly anything!) and I have to feed 4 of us on 'something out of nothing'! Must go and make some pasty type things with the miniscule bit of mince I found lurking in the freezer, and whatever rubber/ frozen veg I can find!!!
Have a good day all. DH at work, kids watching tv and looking for food. Thank God I bought 3 for 2 boxes of cereal in Mr T the other day. They've been having it for bfast, snacks and supper.

    Happy Birthday Halight :bdaycake:

    Happy Birthday Smokey :bdaycake:

Went out early this morning to look at catalogue shop clearance stuff that was on this morning. Got three tops, three skirts and a dress and jacket for a total of six pounds. Could not try anything on so have no idea what will fit but for the price it is worth the gamble and benefits charity.

DD(25) home for the weekend to be here for her sister's 22nd birthday tomorrow so put out croissants, orange juice and coffee for them.

Caught the butchers on way home and got large pork pie for DH, sausage rolls for rest of us and a ham shank which is now in the slow cooker.

Might do sweet potato and red pepper soup with home made bread for tonight unless anyone craves something different.

So pleased to have everyone together :j

Going to amble downstairs and see how they are are fixed for early lunch etc.

    Hug to all
