Booked. Def states 1 person but a double room so fingers crossed they don't pay too much attention.

I booked a Travelodge before Xmas for last weekend for my DH. I booked it in my name for one person but he took a mate at the last minute. I rang up the Travelodge direct and they said just to let them know the day before for fire regulations and she even changed it to a twin for me so no problem at all. Just don't ring the main customer service line, they're jobsworths. ;)
Too many children, too little time!!!

I know when I booked 2 rooms for a Beatles tour I wasn't able to go so needed to change a double to a twin as all the 'gents' wouldn't bunk together, such girls blouses!
Rang TL I booked at & they sorted it. Really helpful. Now they just need to train the site to do the same.

This sale does seem to be quite a disappointment.

I think trying to bag a £10 room may be optimistic but £19 is still a great find.
Aigburth was advertised @ £10 but even dates I didn't want came up as more £ as I was curious. Given mines for a sat night I'm please.

I checked a few dates and places yesterday and they have actually gone UP in this so-called sale.

TL haven`t done themselves any favours with this one.

Well i was looking for rooms about the £20 mark each time i looked, but the rooms were closer to £50 so it hasnt even helped me in the slightest

I cannot for the life of me understand why they went back to using the old site for the start of this sale. The new one is much easier, and lets you book multiple nights for the cheapest price available including saver rates.

    Hi folks
just to let anybody worried know....I booked a room this morning (:j)
but also wanted to cancel an old booking....I couldn't find it.
Rang the TL 10p a min booking line in a panic. Helpful (if expensive) man looked up my bookings and they are still there...they just don't show on the website at the moment......:eek::eek:

I think, to put it politely, the website is having a few teething problems!
I am hoping it will be feeling better next time I look at it, in a few day's time.
(is there an emoticon for gritted teeth?)
