Well I went back to bed, have done the school run so trying again.
Still this lark of only 1 occupier room so ammend for 2 people & nothing available yet it offers me a double. Def can't budge off sat June 11 & DD has stayed at Aigburth before so should I just book in the 1 person yet turn up as couples?
Going the long way through the site opting for 2 adults in same TL comes up @ £59.60 for a double yet 1 person offers a double @ £19!!
Am I going mad or are they likely to be the same room?0 -
Thanks, looking forward to it now! Im a big fan of Pleasure Beach and usually do it in the day and get the train home the same day, which is usually tiring and not very nice when your soaked (usual Blackpool weather/ Valhalla)! But, having the room to stay the night in will be much better, and even more happy that it cost just £19!
-Just checked my online banking and they havnt taken the money yet (not even re severed the funds), is this usual does anyone know? I do have the 2 emails from them, and it is in my Travelodge account so its definitely booked!
They usually take it out within a few days, but either last time or the time before (can't remember which) they took WEEKS to take the money; in fact, I was getting worried that they might cancel the booking. They didn't, though! If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!0 -

I would be very surprised if you had any trouble. I would just book the room.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I guess once you've checked in you can come & go as you please so they'd prob never know.
Do they bother to ask if you are a guestt whilst moving about through reception?
I am such a worry wart.....0 -

No they never ask you anything. I have even had 2 keys when I have the room booked for one person. It depends on what floor you are on, but in a lot of the travelodges you don't even go through the reception to get to rooms and tbh the staff are never that interested in anything. Basically you have paid for the room and it's up to you who you have in it within reason obv.
If you don't book it soon, you'll regret it when the price goes up;)Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

The staff at Travel lodge don't care what you do as long as you don't cause a nuisance.0

As long as the person who booked is there at check in you should have no problems - they usually ask for name and first line of address. They are used to couples turning up with only one shown on the booking due to the website and its stupid default setting of one person per room!0 -
Booked. Def states 1 person but a double room so fingers crossed they don't pay too much attention.
Normally I have had to fill in who name of who is staying in each room but clearly I can't be in both rooms yet both are in my name!
All I know is we have somewhere to stay after the TT gig.0 -
Can't book or look site keeps crashing!!0
