Just remind them when you arrive and there will be no problem about keeping the same room.
I have done this countless times, as I used Travelodge a lot last summer when I was working on Big Brother. Just tell them on check in and they should tie them up. Sometimes need to get my keycard reset each day depending on the person working but my stuff is always there when I get in!0 -

I would recommend the newcastle-under-lyme one. Its only been open for a couple of months. Its in the centre of town, a 2 minute walk from morrisons- you could go for a cheap breakfast.:happylove
