Same thing happened to me. Got a £10 room then made the mistake of trying to add another day and lost both! Still showed at £10 when I went to try again, but kept coming up with different prices !! Gave up!

    Hi folks
just to let anybody worried know....I booked a room this morning (:j)
but also wanted to cancel an old booking....I couldn't find it.
Rang the TL 10p a min booking line in a panic. Helpful (if expensive) man looked up my bookings and they are still there...they just don't show on the website at the moment......:eek::eek:

I think, to put it politely, the website is having a few teething problems!
I am hoping it will be feeling better next time I look at it, in a few day's time.
(is there an emoticon for gritted teeth?)
I phoned them last Sunday to cancel a booking (as the website wouldn't let me) & the guy on the phone told me the website was broken. This might explain why my cancelled booking is still showing yet another I booked isn't (despite receiving a confirmation email). Guess I'll just have to wait & see...

Thanks OP got a couple of rooms at sale price for when the kids are on holiday. Very Happy, although it did take me nearly 2 hours to find rooms that weren't in the middle of nowhere:D
    :D:D:D:D:D
Where's the Coffee?? Show me the Coffee NOW!!

I note the Travelodge 'sale' now has a £19 'sale' tab.
Hmmm... was £19 what you could get (many more) rooms for just by booking ahead?
I note the rooms I booked before the sale at £19 are now marked in red 'sale' colours - but at £23.50!!! (good job I booked beforehand)

Lesson to be learned: Sales don't really exsist - in Travelodges' case these were rooms, most of which would have go unsold & empty, so just like easyjet - it's better to fill the space even for a small price.

The job of the MSE's is to ensure WE get the deal rather than accept 2nd best - I'm waiting for the next wave of 'reductions' released to boost the sale ... hopefully back at £10

If anyones looking for London I just managed to book the new London Ealing Travelodge for £25 per night midweek in August. :j Its a bit further out than we wanted but still only 1/2 hour by tube and a bargain for family rooms! You need to search for Ealing as it doesn't appear on the list when you search for London.

just got 2 nights for 2 people in london ilford gants hill for 4th to the 6th september total price came up at 21.50 with the cancellation fee!
bargain dont care if its a dive for that price its only to get my head down while i see the sites.
Instead of selecting dates individually i searched ilford gants then selected 2 nights with the above dates thats how it came up at that price.

there are still plenty of £10 rooms to be had even though the website says sold out. Just search and book.

In other words 'robotic' response ignoring the issue. I rang reservation and they told me I had to reply to the email again and wait 14 working days for a reply. If I hear nothing I can call reservation back and they can arrange a call back. There is no contact details being offer to speak to customer service direct.
    Premier Inn definitley next time.
Martin Lewis always tells us to use cheaper options but theres always the saying 'You get what you paid for' and 'If something's too good to be true, it probably is'.
In the future if I can't afford a £55 Premier Inn for a nice family out, I just won't bother as Trabelodge is unecessary stress and hassle.
