Ooh Flutterby I'm so envious, especially as my trip to Oz is on hold for now!!
Did you manage to phone the bank JackieG? That's terrible that your OH didn't get paid when he should.
JackieO, how do you manage it? Glad you managed to pack so much into your week with the children.

After work I came home and phoned the tax office - they said that I had missed the deadline to return my tax form and wanted payment now. When I phoned them it turns out that although I filed my return in time I can't have the tax taken off my PAYE as I sent it in after 31 December. Oh well, at least its only £157 odd. I had to wait 25 minutes for them to answer the phone too!

Also took two coats to the dry cleaners, I bought them in a CS sale (3 items for £5) and one of them is cashmere! I like a bargain. Will pick them up on Monday. Took a friend some eggs and had a chat and now I'm back waiting for the chicken to cook so I can have my tea.

OH got his new fangs yesterday he thinks he is like the dogs in the dentix adverts :rotfl: I can't tell the difference TBH got used to his gaps, but hopefully he will get used to them soon.

Work today was a bit quiet for a wages Friday so am expecting a lot of !!!!! on Monday.

OS wise, OH has been home today so it was all up to him, have to say, came home to lovely chicken dinner with cabbage, mash, sprouts, cauli and leeks....only thing he cheated on was the chicken, bought a ready cooked one, but can't complain, he would have cooked a fresh one if he had had time, he was sorting out an old car we have to put on ebay.

Weekend plans are: sorting out the stuff OH took out of his old waggon, he will have half the space in his new one, while we are doing that sort out the garage for junk. Going out tomorrow night for my birthday treat as OH will be away training on my birthday next week, apart from that the usual washing, ironing, hoovering, dusting etc etc

Flutterby - Have a fantastic time. Never really been a one for globe trotting I prefer roaming the UK BUT I really wish I'd gone to Hawaii before I'd have kids. Don't fancy a 17 hour flight with children anymore.
