    Hi everyone,

I can't remember if I posted or not yesterday. I'm feeling very stressed at the moment. DAd gets the results of his CT scan on Wednesday.

We're helping DS and gf move to a new house this weekend. It's a lovely arts and crafts style house which has hardly been altered since it was built. It's very quirky and has a huge garden. They're renting and the owners are paying for a gardener to go in. The best thing is it's only 15 minutes away from here rather than the 45 they currently are.

Hugs to anyone in need, especially, Loulou, BB and RR.

By the way I'm on Facebook so if someone could PM me their address I could join in.

    Afternoon All

Started off bright but it is very grey and gloomy
Went shopping this morning and did the whole week's worth for £47 in Aldi so I am happy with that.

I have to go back to the orthapaedic surgeon in a year but I have to lose at least four stone before he will put me on the list, and he is worried about the venous insufficiency as well so I have to run the DLA gauntlet again - I was really hoping that he would do it this year but that's life.:(

Bargainbird that is so bloody infuriating
There is no justice in this country, how can murderers get off so lightly and lighter crimes get longer sentences. And now bloody Europe wants to protect their human rights
We are still waiting to hear if the little scumbag who murdered our friend last year is going to court yet; it makes you think that 50 years ago they would have been hung - bring it back I say.
    And breathe....................

Redruby...... How on earth can the so called carers dress him in the wrong clothes ?   Doesn't he have his own clothes there?

Jackie G (((((((Hugs)))))) I hope you get the money situation sorted soon x

At least DH is much better today but he has a lovely shiner and the begger has been telling everyone that I gave it to him
I've told him if he carries on I will give him a matching one :rotfl::rotfl:

lowsey ........The first one is always scary. But when you are in labour just think of that beautiful baby that you have waited so long for and it will not be as hard x

Dinner tonight is braised lamb chump chops with broccolli, new potatoes and carrots ( got all the veg at aldi for 39p each :))

Oh well the fairies are on strike so I had better crack on

    Keep safe all x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    Hi folks,
Loulou-so sorry to hear about your Grandad, horrible shock for you.
Jackieg- know where youre coming from re DH wages, mine is self employed too,and its sooo hard to plan and budget sometimes.Hope its sorted soon.
    BB- on your behalf.
Redruby- so glad your Dad was cheerful.Shame about the clothes though.
    Hugs to anyone in need.

I'm  at myself.Yesterday I was cleaning out the freezer and switched it off.Only I forgot to switch it back on once I put the food back in.Went in this morning to get the meat out for tea,and was met by drips, grrr.Hastily checked through, the stuff at the back was still frozen, but I'll have to use some stuff up for tea instead of what we were going to have.At least it wasnt the chest freezer.

Just waved DB and DN7 off.He went off to the dentist this morning while we baked brownies and fairycakes, had our lunch, fed the birds, cleaned the bird bath out,fed the dog, watched tv and then she washed up while I had a rest :) Then we talked about the 'olden days'-she cant get her head round me and my brothers living in the same house, she thought we all had a different Mum and Dad:rotfl:
DS2 has been back to the docs for different painkillers, and she's referred him to a back clinic for an urgent appt in a weeks time.Meanwhile he's spending a lot of his wage on his private physio.I dont think DH can keep paying him tho if he's not working,as he's had to find a substitute joiner so the job they were on isnt held up.

Ithink we are asking friends up tomorrow night,so will have to mop the floors etc,but will leave it till tomorrow, otherwise big mucky pawprints will appear again, everywhere including the garden is so boggy at the moment.

    Have a good weekend.x

  • Evening all

    (((((bargainbird and jackieg)))))

Well we didn't make the seaside as it's poured down here all day :( but instead I took them to the main town for the day and we had a lovely meal all together then they went off to wander for hour or so, and I went to Primark :D. I spent £20, but came out with a top, cardi, bag, shoes, 2 necklaces, bangle and headband :D. I like work days like this ;). I also popped to Matalan on way home and got a lovely doormat for a fiver! It's very Cath Kidston-esque, has birds on and says "home tweet home" :).

OS wise - WM has just finished, dinner will be freezer surprise, DW will go on overnight.

    Have a good evening all

You know your getting old when you
go to the pub sit outside
and admire the hanging basket
    Is officially 48% tight :D
  • Flutterby that sounds amazing, the time will fly past before you know it, and you'll be there :D

Possibly some light at the end of the tunnel, OH has been told he should get his money Tuesday. No reason not to believe the man as yet, but I just wish he'd told us in enough time to stop the debits. Oh well. I shall enjoy the boot sale tomorrow and at least the money I have, put by, is there for next week if I am desperate, I can go and get it out on Monday morning. Up early in the morning so I won't be hanging around, but in my temper today I: cleaned all the doors and paintwork downstairs; cleaned the loo and bathroom; vacuumed the stairs; cleaned dusted and brushed the living room; washed all the downstairs floors; washed all the dishes and made dinner and bread; had a declutter of OH's cloths and did the washing. More housework today than in the last fortnight :o
