  • Lowesy you can have too many size 1 nappies as I recall... people don't realise how quick babies grow and buy too many size 1's and sometimes size 2's!

I wouldn't worry about the baby coming out... You just cope with it when it happens and once it's over you'll pretty much forget the pain because you will have everything you really want in your arms, and suddenly there is something so much more important then anything else... and you know you would do it all again 10 times over as long as your bundle is safe xxx

Thanks JulieG I will bear that in mind. The size 1's I have got are very tiny!

Unless the baby is premature... most babies jump right into size 2!

DS lasted days only in size 1, I had LOADS of packs and used 1 and a half only :o

When you look at the clothes you just can't imagine something being so small...! I look as DS baby clothes and i'm not sure he ever fit them... he's 4 and a half foot tall now

Oh, quick question....... was sorting out my Tesco vouchers so I can order some days out vouchers to use in a few weeks. I'm sure the last one I got was for £7, but all I can find is a £2 and £5 with date of 28/03/13, and a couple of older ones I knew were there. I was sure I had gotten one that was for more. Can one of you have a look for me at your last ones you got and see what the expiry date was on them, so I know if I need to keep hunting for it IYKWIM!!!!!

(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

    Morning all!

Keep managing to delete posts, must need more tea lol! Grey and cloudy here today, but a spot of brightness in the sky, that I think is the sun behind a bright white cloud! So long as it stays dry, as hoping to get out in the garden, and I am def a fair weather gardener!

Off to look for a car later, old one is beyond economical repair, and it makes the most awful clunking and grinding noises when we are all in it! Hoping that I manage to find something quickly and preferably from a local garage, so that should I have any problems then they can be sorted out easily! Will have to get saving again though, as no back up money is quite a scary thought! However a car is a necessity, as I live in the middle of nowhere and we have no public transport!

OS stuff today will involve throwing the gammon in the SC in a bit, hoovering, S&S the kitchen and more washing! Need to get this done this morning, as I'm finding that by 6pm I have no energy left! Had a brief burst of energy between stopping feeling sick and this tiredness, and feeling a little bit cheated that I am not experiencing the second trimester bloom and energy pah!

Don't know if anyone noticed on grabbit, but M&S have their chickens and a cherry or apple pie for £5, and sangria has been reduced to £1.99 a bottle, and there is a further 25% when you buy six bottle of wine or champagne. Stocked up in readiness for the summer and when I can have a glass again, shame I didn't remember that I'd parked a long way away - dd1 and dd3 just shook their heads as we ambled back to the car clutching several chickens, pies and sangria bottles!

Hugs and congrats as appropriate, or where just wanted! Time for another cuppa and a slice of toast and a catchup xx

Bit overcast here but it doesn't feel cold. Got to nip into Manchester for school shoes and will probably treat DS3 to lunch. After the disatrous morning food wise yesterday I managed to avoid any high carbs and even said no to a bacon butty last night so feeling virtuous:A

Got my last wage today so that's a bit scary. Working from home now and its scary to know I am totally responsible for my earnings iykwim.

DH must do some paperwork this evening as we have been putting it off all week. I must cook something as well, no idea what yet.

Got a new smart phone yesterday so I spent the afternoon playing oops studying it:o its great although not tried to post on here yet with it

Off for a shower and to wake up sleeping beauty. Have a good day x
