i had a person hack into my account and order $200 worth of amazon vouchers dragon , thankfully the card i use for these places is a debit card and i only ever transfer onto that card what it is i need so there wasnt $200 on there to spend , when i spoke to amazon they wernt interested in dealing with it at all

dont get me wrong it could happen with any site i am just more wary now of where i put my details ... if a company as big as amazon cant protect my account then who else cant

Wow what an up and down year. Glad the holiday to Florida went ok.

Nice one about OH going back to work. Sorry if I am being thick but was there a reason why you had to buy new rather than get second hand from a charity shop? When I was back there in May I was amazed at the quality of the charity shop clothes....much better than here.

Hope that OH meds are now sortee, it must be very scary to not only have to deal with OH illness but also with side effects. And then being told that there is nothing wrong with the medication by the DR:eek::eek::eek:

    Hi all,

Sorry I havnt been on this week , I have been gutting my house ( and helped a friend with two of her rooms as well) we cleared the house years ago don't know if anyone remembers ? Well although I got rid of a load of stuff then I knew I had more to go but didn't feel ready to part. With anymore ...

My house has been annoying me for ages now but we thought we would wait for son to leave before starting our place ... Son is dragging his heels and I was getting more annoyed by the minute , so this week just a bit at a time I have been clearing out loads ... The charity shops love me and look forward to our daily meet lol ... I havnt even got the downstairs done yet but it feels so good doing something about it all as my patience was wearing thin... I've also needed to have a break from all the other holiday goers .. So this has been the perfect excuse :)

Money wise I'm still waiting on the visa etc but I have been careful with daily spends ... Went out for a cheap meal then onto the theatre on tue with free tickets and did an orange wednesday. Other than that I have been tight with the money

Hubby is finding he is being asked all the time to put to sheets for birthdays charity etc in work ... Anyone got any advice on how we can cut this down ( or out) so far this week he has paid out £10 which is a lot when it isn't budgetted

Hey Chev , to be honest there is no reason we didn't go to the charity shops apart from we just didn't think... were so stupid sometimes
Were that used to taking things to the charity shop but never actually think of buying things from there ...

    hey all,

well i havnt really had much to write about so i havnt really been on

finance wise ... i still have to have the final figure of the amount of debt we have got into with hubby being sick , this is because this wage was the last of his sick pay so we will need to use the visa again this month to survive, i think it will come to around £2,000 and also the £250 (well just a bit less) that we spent on clothes for him to go back to work so if i divide that all to what i think i owe it works out at £640 a month, that should be doable, however i still want to have savings so i need to work on that as well

i have had an interview, i never got the job , but they were very impressed with me and want me to apply for another job that they have coming up within the next few months which just so happens to be more my line of experience and interest, it also happens to be more money, i am not however counting on it until i have started the job so i am continuing the search.

hubby is settling into his new job it's going ok, he has came off of all his tablets and has now not had an alcoholic drink for nearly four months which is really good for him, he still knows he has an issue with it though and even though he wants to at one stage in his life maybe be able to enjoy a drink again he knows that it is not now and probably wont be for well over a year, he says he is ok with that and hopes that when he finally feels in control of his drinking that he wont actually want a drink... our marriage is still very fragile, i dont know if we will eve sort things out, but i know that both of us are trying because we want to try and not because we feel like we cant survive without the other, when we were split up i have to admit i found it to be ok, we have been together since i was very young so there was always this nagging doubt would i ever manage on my own? how could i survive etc... i always though oh el you will be fine you are strong and you can do it so dont worry, i think us splitting was a great oppertunity for me to try that out, and i did, and i loved it , and i managed really well, so i now know i can be alone and it wont scare me, not saying it would be a breeze or anything , but i could do it, which in a way helps with our marriage... we arnt together because we have to be, if that makes any sense at all?

son is moving out soon YAY so i am still trying to gut the house out ... it seems to be one step forward three steps back but we will get there

    hope you are all good

just off to update my sig :)
