Good luck with the CV el. There are plenty of people who would look it over for you if you need it.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Hey all ,
Havnt been around much and rarely on my laptop now as I'm that busy doing uninteresting stuff ... This is on the phone so won't be long or make much sense
Things are slowly moving here ... I have a cv now and would be grateful if I could pass it over to some knowledgeable people for a wee looksy ... I have been applying for jobs but getting no where there just don't seem to be any about suitable for me just now
Hubby has been sober for 9 weeks its been hard going on that front .. Finally he goes back to work on amended duties and gradual return to work for the next wee while starting Monday
The debt aint really going down ( due to ssp) and has actually went up a wee bit ... The savings have disappeared due to sick pay etc etc ( will need to update signature when I am finally on laptop) ... Hopefully as things get back to normal we will get back on track .... I reckon fingers crossed by next feb we should be back on track
Hope everyone else is good0 -
Good news that Mr.El is back to work, that will be a relief for you both and well done on 9 weeks sober.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
It is only to be expected that payments of the debt would get less while income was lower.
Well done to Mr El on being sober for so long, and on being able to return to work. Hopefully things will start looking up for you.
The key thing with applying for jobs is to match your skills to what they are looking for. Especially if they are big organisations, as initially they will just go through with a 'tick list', they are looking to narrow down the search. Make it easy for them to pick you.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

El - If you still need someone to give the cv a look over, I can have a look for you. Also, Greenbee on MG thread has done lots of that sort of thing and is very helpful.
