yikes ...just thought i would check my visa bill ... i am over £50 overdrawn... so i have a £12 bill for being overdrawn and i am overdrawn so that makes it not a good place to be ... and i still have to survive till the 15th october ... its gonna be a tight squeeze ... i am a tad annoyed with myself ... i have never done this before i am usually on top of things ... oh well another lesson learned0

Thanks Hypno ...how are u doing ?
Have to admit I knew that it would be tight with hubby dropping wages ... And tbh it could be so much worse ... We will get there ... Its just gonna take time ... I've been doing overtime in work aswell so that should take the visa down ...0 -

hey all,
:hello:well i havnt really had much to write about so i havnt really been on
Well it's good to see you.i have had an interview, i never got the job , but they were very impressed with me and want me to apply for another job that they have coming up within the next few months which just so happens to be more my line of experience and interest, it also happens to be more money, i am not however counting on it until i have started the job so i am continuing the search.
It's good news, and a wise move. Counting chickens comes to mind otherwise...hubby is settling into his new job it's going ok, he has came off of all his tablets and has now not had an alcoholic drink for nearly four months which is really good for him, he still knows he has an issue with it though and even though he wants to at one stage in his life maybe be able to enjoy a drink again he knows that it is not now and probably wont be for well over a year, he says he is ok with that and hopes that when he finally feels in control of his drinking that he wont actually want a drink...
I hate to break this to you, but he can *NEVER* drink something knowing it contains alcohol without a severe risk of a relapse.
I'd say the risk/reward of that means he can never drink alcohol again.
That's the thing about addiction. It never really goes away. It can never be put on a diet - only starved.our marriage is still very fragile,

oh deff, i dont want to hold off for this job then someone more perfect for it comes along, i need a day shift job, i want a day shift job so that is my number one priority, dont get me wrong i think i would love the job if i got it and i think i would be exceptionally great at it ( after i got the hang of it) it works to my natural strengths and would stretch me as well... but counting chickens is deff a valid point

i know this z, it's him that is currently believeing otherwise, i think thats the thing with addiction, to actually believe that you cant have control over something is a very hard step to take, i dont think he is ready to take that step just now but he has started to take the step of not drinking and that is to be encouraged, small steps ... one day he will get there ... or if he doesnt we dont stay together it's his choice in that sense

thank you they are always welcome0 -
well i havnt been up to much again as ever
son has moved into his own house yay ... so we are now currently at the cleaning the downstairs of the house so that i can get the carpet shamppoed and put the treadmill down there, i am glad i gutted the down stairs beofre he left as it was only a case of cleaning yesterday and we nearly have that all done,
have also managed to clean a few cupboards in the kitchen, i still have most of them to do but again i have started, maybe by the time we get to the stage of doing the kitchen it will be so much easier
money wise we are sooooo skint, i get paid on wednesday and that will give us enough money to eat/put diesel in the car etc for the next two weeks but it is going to be tight... that's ok though as we are used to that and it will all work out in the end0
