Came home from the bank to a letter from the visa company offering me 0% interest with 3% balance transfer fee till oct 2012 ... This will save us paying so much in interest ... So I've transferred the current visa bill which we had to use with hubby off sick .... Will still pay it off fast but it takes some of the pressure off of us

He kept trying to talk me into transferring money into my current account ( which would be 4% transfer fee ) but I was wise to his ploys rofl ... Scary though to think others may just say aye go on then and before they know it be in deeper debt than ever :(

thanks chev i think it takes a wee bit of the pressure off of us... i managed to pay 75 off of debt with my wages but then got a call and had to add £49 to it sigh ... so i phoned up the company today and just got them to add the rest on to it i think it comes to £150 roughly but that is all the debt that is due to come onto that card and i will pay it off with my overtime for this month, so atleast we wont be going any deeper into debt just coming out of it... we will be coming out of it asap as well ... that has been decided or should i say so speaketh me lol atleast were below £60k now so that is good,

i'm night shift all week so boo hoo ... but i am still actively looking for a new job so fingers crossed it comes up soon :)

so what have i been up to?

well last week i had the worst shift ever in my life at work , wont go into details but it was real hard going for all concerned ...

this week hubby has taken his holidays so we are doing some housework shampooing carpets etc, we went to the bank today to get new cards as the bank have changed their online security, whilst there we booked a financial review, we went for an interview and straight away the woman was saying maybe we need to look at your life cover etc but be assured i will give you 110% the best advice that i can ... i just sat and stared at her with my arms folded ... hubby started smiling , the woman said is everything ok and hubby replied my dear my wife knows a bit about our finances and finances in general so i dont recommend you give her any bull or she will verbally tear you a new one... i'm sure i wont but you never know :)

i am dealing with lawyers etc just now for dotty auntie jean ( any facebook friends will know the story there) so far her leg maybe saved , we arnt 100% sure yet if it will be saved but it is looking much more promising than before... talking of facebook i have changed my name etc due to having stalker issues i am dealing with said stalker issues and will be back to normal soon ( i hope)

in bad news i found out that i am paying £10 per month in interest on my student loan ... really not happy about that one ... because of that i have also sat down with the finances and really went through everything so i know exactly where we stand with everything now ... it isnt any worse than i thought, i was basically bang on top of everything with the exception of the interest on the student loan ... i was under the impression that i was paying £2 a month so some months i just paid £5 ( especially with hubby off sick) thinking atleast the interest is kept on top of i can slowly work my way through the rest ... but now i find out that i wasnt even managing that :( but knowledge is power and now that i know this i am gonna kick it into touch as soon as poss as i am not paying that much interest on my visa bill ( 0%)

other than that we are going to see slava tomorrow night ( skinty i will tell you all) i am looking forward to seeing the show as i have seen it twice before already and love it ... my friend owes me £52 for her tickets so i will have £52 in our pocket tomorrow to do us till friday which is pay day ... everything is going good really no complaints from here :)
