    Morning All,
Get me being here in the morning:rotfl: had to get up early as I had an appt for a scoliogram at Ashford at 9am:eek:
Very dark and wet here so feel a duvet day is in order. House is tidy and it's sausage and mash for dinner tonight so nothing taxing. Was planning to have it with beans but now someone else has mentioned it with veg and gravy I think I will do that and make some onion gravy. I am so easily led :D
JackieO glad to hear the arm is improving and that you are well enough to see family again. I bet they've missed you.
RR nice to see that you had some relaxation time.
Jackieg thanks for the info re dog food yesterday I will weigh the mutts and go from there.
Julieg one of my favourite breakfasts is wholemeal toast fingers dipped in yoghurt. I picked it up from an Iranian family I used to know. They used to have just plain yoghurt but I have activia fruits of the forest and find it helps with the IBS
Hugs, spoons & hi5's to all, sorry if I've missed anyone (brain fog)

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for the wishes for dad. He's had the scan this morning but he doesn't know when he'll get the results.

Had a weeping DD on the phone for ages last night, she's feeling really stresed at work. I feel so helpless and just wish I was there to hug her. She's 28 today, I feel old, it only seems like yesterday she was born.

I had a doc's appointment this morning as well, everything is ok but I'm surprised my bp wasn't sky high, especially as I forgot all my medication this morning.

    Sorry for the downer everyone.

    Hugs to those in need.

Low Gi encourages you to get rid of all white flour based products and use wholewheat and rye!

On top even those you are encouraged to eat less then 2 slices of bread a day...! :(

Because I am doing this for health... I can't even cheat and have a breadstick

All very difficult... trying to get your head around it all! As it's for health I have to be so careful not to make mistakes and let my bloodsugar/insulin level rise!

Can you make your own using wholewheat?

Can you lot reassure me. Cat went out at 9am and hasn't been back since :( I checked the house, the garden, been out calling her (several times). I know I am jumping the gun and it's not like we live on a busy road (it's a cul-de-sac) but a couple of days ago she was in and out every 2 minutes (I kid you not) so for her to disappear for 4 hours is unlike her. It is warmer but it's wet and vile (has been raining) so I am just quietly panicking that she's got lost :o:o

Butterflybrain - Oh dear sorry to hear about your H. Hope there's nothing serious underlying his faint xx

  • Bitsy Bean Yes I can, but still have to limit how much I have... but I can make some.

Your cat will be fine x

My Princess never leaves the Garden, and she once went for 24 hours, which was odd!

is she microchipped? If she got hurt the vet would call you quite quickly!

I hope she comes home soon xxx

Yeah she's microchipped. I am such a wuss, she's like my little baby and I don' t like it when they're so far out of earshot :o

I know how you feel. When Princess (I appologise now about her name) went overnight (she NEVER misses dinner either) I was very worried... One day I am going to design and market a cat tracker... so you can follow them on the computer and know they are safe!

How many people would like that??

    How old is your cat?

Bitsy, have you checked the garage? Or under next-door's car? If it's raining she has probably tucked herself away somewhere, especially if she couldn't get back in.

You're welcome JG - just remember not to overdose on tuna when you do conceive!! Another annoying rule seeing as tuna and mackeral are my latest cravings!!!! I am literally like an addict as my Mum is watching me like a hawk since I told her how much tuna I was allowed in a week!

Butterfly Brain - how frightening for you all! I hope your DH is on the mend now xx

Bitsy - Don't worry about puss. It's tipping it down with rain, I'm sure she'll be tucked up hiding from it somewhere safe and warm

Snoozer - Huggles my darling. Hope things improve for you soon xx

Mummysaver - Wow can you send your DD1 my way please to find me some maternity clothes?! Who'd have thunk that the extra material for a bump would add so much to the cost of clothes?!

Where's JackieG today? Anyone "seen" her?

    xx
