Used to be 4
Well the pate is the size/weight of 1 tin, and it will last me the week... and I normally never eat more then 1 tin a week anyway... so should be fine, but will be careful
What's this about Mackerel??? I love Mackerel!!!!
Apparently, all oily fish (obviously including mackerel) should be limited to 2 portions a week because they can contain pollutants like dioxins. Not sure exaxtly what dioxins are, but I had two miscarriages last year so like you I am not taking any chances! Also note that fresh tuna steak is an oily fish (but somehow the canned stuff isn't - not sure how that works :rotfl:) so if you have that, it's no more fish for the entire week!Sometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,

Havent had chance to read the thread yet, (((hugs))) to all who need/want one. I went into school today to sort out my room. It was lovely and peaceful, managed to get rid of some stuff, it looks much cleaner now, will be pleased on Monday morning when I go in at 8am. The boys had their haircut this afternoon, they look much smarter now, I go on Friday for a cut and blow. My sister called which was nice had a bit of a catch-up, she also works in a school it's nice to chat with someone "in the business, but not at the same school" Well must dash, need to go shopping (food) and visit the recycling bank.
Have a lovely evening whatever your plans.

Hello All
I have been reading this thread for a few weeks now and thought it time i joined in, if thats ok (rather than stalk you lol)
I have been a member for a few years but really need to keep a tight leash on the finances at the moment if we want a holiday this year
So far this week I have spent £44 but that was for the weekly shop (2 adults, 1 child and 3 pets) so pleased with myself for that.
DS is at Nannies tonight so DH and I had planned to go out.... now i'm not so sure though, I haven't 'budgeted' for it and I have a meal all ready for us for tonight..... we don't get the chance to go very often though.
I have also for the first time ever made a chicken soup from the carcass, this morning I gave it a whizz and tasted it and was pleasantly suprised! :j I'll definately be doing that again!
So thats me, hello to everyone - I might not be able to post daily but i intend to try - I find this thread very motivating into actually getting stuff done so Thank you All:j Mortgage Free!! )Generally trying to cut back where possible :j0 -
