    Morning everyone

Wet here. Am going back to work today, don't feel 100% but if I don't the bank balance will make me feel worse:eek:

Am taking a hot water bottle to put at the back of my chair, quite thankful that my firm are not into health and safety too much otherwise that would probably be a no-no.

Don't feel much like eating so am taking soup and a roll for lunch, not hm as have run out, got one of the emergency tins out of the cupboard :rotfl:

It's OHs last day at his present job today, he's got a lot on so goodness knows what time he will be home. He then has the rest of the week off and starts his new job on Monday.

    Have a good day xxx

halight - if you want to go to legoland windsor save mr T vouchers, take a picnic (food is SOOOO expensive) and check the height requirements for rides before you mention it to the twins. It could be a tad disappointing otherwise. Oh - take a swimsuit for children and a towel - the water part is ace! Up, breakfasted and dressed now - two boys raring to go! xx
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

Oooh another peice of exciting news for me anyway is that my favorite film of all time "East is East" has a sequel coming out on Friday called "west is west" so can't wait for that :D

I'm really disapointed that its not showing at either of the cinemas near here this weekend.

I thought it could be my birthday treat, but nearest one to us showing it is Derby :( takes the shine off if I have to sit in the car and travel for ages.

    Morning all,

Thanks so much for all the messages and hugs, you lovely lot :)

Had a really good nights sleep, and then this morning lay in bed reading my book for ages :o, OH bought me a cup of tea in bed, it was bliss :D

DD is still in bed, will leave her for another hour, let her have a good sleep, we have my other dd (her best friend) coming over later on for a sleep over, trying to keep things as normal as possible for dd.

Dinner tonight will be a roast chicken with veg and roasties, I sure am comfort eating :rotfl:, will go back to healthy eating next week.

I want to have a good clean through this morning, and get everything prepped for dinner, then will do and see dad after lunch, I need to take him some prunes as he is constipated, and these always seem to shift it:D

No washing here today as its raining, so will leave it till tomorrow.

Essex girl, its my dd's prom this year too, we have the shoes and a corset, which is stunning but makes her look a bit too busty for my liking :o, we just need to get a ballerina type skirt and then we are done :T
Cant wait to see them all done up.

Ok better get on, have good days all xx
  • Thank you for your responses on Breakfasts!!! Once I finish work it will be easier, as eggs and tomatoes are all very good starts to the day!

Essex-Girl Fat isn't an issue on Low Gi, I will look into those spreads... but I'm not a huge fan of them.
Silvermaid will be looking into those... any recipes?
AlwaysAllie I know all pates including mushroom have a risk of listeriousis (sp) BUT lentils are very good... maybe a lentil dip would be fine...
Bargain Bird Yum! I love it on Oatcakes... am about to work out if it's affordable on a daily basis....! Thanks!

Anyway, thank you again for your responses... and so fast :D

  • Good Morning everyone ,I feel a whole lot better today than I have for a couple of days.i still can't get my arm sleeve on but at least the redness is fading a bit.Plus I just feel more 'normal' IYSWIM.
Today I am going to see my little grandsons whom I haven't sen for several days because I wasn't well.As its raining buckets at the moment the park is off the list of things to do so it looks like the cinema.Whether is looking better for tomorrow so the country park might be back on then.My DD has to work this week so I am helping out with child car a little .One of the boys has a birthday so a treat is on the cards for him at least I know he want to go to London to see his beloved football team chelsea's ground so that may also be a trip this week. I have a pile of iroing the size of the empire state to do this week but it will have to wait as I'm not to pick up anything heavy with my wonky arm until the infection has gone .These super anti-bios certainly are faster working than the others I used to take.
Well I am off to forage for some breakfast,it will be the first one this week as I haven't eaten much either.I think a poached egg on toast might be nice
    have a good day everyone

    Morning All ,

JG - I'm pregnant atm and the rules on what you can and can't eat have all changed again! My midwife gave me this link as a guide http://www.babyworld.co.uk/information/pregnancy/health/eating/is_it_safe.asp but I don't know what's low GI and what isn't I'm afraid.
Essex - glad everything went ok yesterday xx

Wet and miserable here, am meeting my aunt for lunch so need to prepare myself for the hysterical laughter that comes when we have lunch together! Don't know what it is with the two of us, obviously just have the same silly sense of humour :D

Just found out that one of the guys I used to work with till I got promoted has been made redundant - the lucky bu99er!!!! He's got 10 years service, plus he gets to work until the end of his project and then gets his 10 weeks notice period paid on top of the redundancy monies!!! Tell me folks, what do I have to do to get picked for redundancy?!?!?! I've already had an honest discussion with my boss and told him that I'm willing to take it, but as per the CEO "voluntary redundancy is not an option" boooooooo  I know, maybe I should spend even more time on here! That might just get me fired though instead :rotfl:

OS today, may look at the wash I did yesterday and consider ironing it, haven't thought of tea tonight not sure what baby wants :rotfl:

Hugs to all in need or want xx
