i would leave it in all honesty. there are two ways to look at it. go for it, call HO and make a point of it all, demand apology, r&r etc, or you could walk away, wait til something big comes along. just take dvd back for refund if you don't want it. you cant win them all without making yourself too well known. the choice is yours.roll on december 26th : i want my house back!!!!
got it back, just the bloody tree to go now!!!!!0 -

My wife tried today but one of the vouchers jammed and the till called for assistance, lady opened up and saw the asda vouchers!, had to pretend she put them through by mistake! ( All 15 of them ! )

thelurch wrote:Saw a tower of Holsten Pils 24s by the meat freezers, had an out of date A4 sign "2 for 16" , exp 7/11. And on the other side of said tower was another A4 sign exactly the same but exp 14/11.
I know it's bit pedantic, but a lot of people are referring to this as Holsten Pils, but it's actually Holsten Export, which is a different drink altogether. You need to look out for dark green cases and as the lurch points out, they often have towers of them scattered around stores.

They just seem to be random amounts, one 25p off came up as £3.xx
She managed to use them all in the next tesco we visited, till called assistant and nice lady actually helped her put them through, saved about £13 off a £20 spend0 -
Getting really into the r & r thing but had a terrible experience today. Got a vtech alphabet train station that had out of date sel so bought it with a few other bits and then went to cs. She said they had new policy and not refunding out of date sels. Then she calls manager who looks at me like I'm a shoplifter and says theres no way I'm getting a refund as too many people are taking the !!!!! So I asked could I phone ho who confirm I should get a refund and the cs talks to them and still won't refund. Had to call back manager who got really stroppy and said he was getting duty manager to tell me I couldn't have anything. He came down and told them both that I was entitled to a full refund and they had to do whatever ho tells them. This took over an hour with a screaming baby in tow. Nearly walked away at one point but stood my ground. It has definately knocked my confidence a bit but I don't like being intimidated so may make a point of going back there. Thanks for all the advice in here though or I may have never stood my ground so much.Boots and Tesco tart!! :heartpuls0

Sorry but I think you need to stand your ground on this, you have nothing to lose as you have already raised your profile. you have quite clearly been overcharged and they bound by law to refund the difference, but as the overcharge took place in Tesco, then you should be refunded in full and you get to keep the product. Phone up HO and demand that this is dealt with.0 -

Yeah, I couldnt find them in the beer aisle in the store I was in this morning, then found them on an end of aisle display but unfortunately the A4 signs were missing so looks like someone beat me to it! Grrr!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

NO NO NO
Too late in my opinion and anyway I certainly wouldn't allow myself to be treated in that manner !.0
