    Hi there.

I've decided to jump the bandwagon and have made plans to take a trip to my local tesco next Monday. (for R&R freebies)

However, I believe there isn't a self-scanner at the tesco, so how on earth will i be certain that an item will scan at a higher price?

I am intrested in DVD's and video games etc.

Any advice will be hugely appreciated! :money:

take a look at the misprices only thread, it will give you a clue as to what items are scanning at ;)

Surely Q branch could come up with some kind of scanner built into a watch or something?
That made me laugh! Very Good!:rotfl:

Hmm, where would I find that. In the Grabbit board?

Also, what happens if then are fixed or are out of date?

    Thanks for the replies :)

If you'd already paid for it, it was a definite R&R. CSA had no right to exchange the pack --you'd been overcharged on the pack you had paid for.
Yet another case of 'any excuse to avoid an R&R'!
  • Tesco's -Today 20th November.

Needed an xbox 360 with lot number of 632 or lower ( can't mod em otherwise! ).
Kind lady checked stock and got me one........ it scanned at £192.97.

I got an RnR no problem whatsoever....and they still gave me the extra 200 card points for buying computer equipment!

It may be worth asking them to check for a LOT Number of 632 or less...it means they're at least 2-3 months old......maybe that's why they scan incorrectly??

The LOT number is on the side of the actual 360 box ( not the sample on shelf, the actual box you'd buy). Just tell 'em you want to check the number...since the new lot numbers (632 and upwards) have the new Hitachi drive...whereas the old ones have the Samsung drive...which you've heard are much more reliable!! BS, of course...but worth a go for £180+ ???

Guys & Girls - If anyone is in the Banbury area, Mr T has just finished a big store refurb. A friend tells me they are still in a bit of a pickle with re-stocking the shelves and thus it must be ripe for the picking up of R&R's.
I can't make it there myself till the weekend, but if anyone does notice any specific Banbury R&R's could you spare me a thought and drop me a PM.

I'd like to exchange Shaggy Dog for a different DVD (same price) - is it likely that I will be allowed to do this as I've had and RnR on it and the receipt is marked ? I'm inclined to try - the worst they can say is 'no' - but I wondered how others had got on in simiar situations.

Someone else has posted about the Xbox 360 on the misprices thread. Have a read. Looks like it applies to the core pack, not premium (judging by the price mentioned).

She told me to go to Customer services since it was the wrong price!!!...should be £184.97.....but not to let on she told me.

Did just that...and got an RnR no problem whatsoever....and they still gave me the extra 200 card points for buying computer equipment!
