Anyway I forgot to add on an entirely different topic, re- 'the XBox is it or isn't it a misprice issue'. Further to my post earlier in the week saying that TS had stated it WAS a mispricing issue and misleading advertising also, the TS officer involved was not familiar with the Price Promise policy and after looking at that and debating with colleagues, she contacted me to say it was NOT a clear cut misprice and as such Tesco were not liable to refund in this case. The warning she gave the store was still being enforced and a report sent the Tesco HO. I later had a phone call from the store manager saying the same and offered me £20 gift voucher for the confusion over the offer and bad CS from HO. I chucked in the towel at this point and accepted this offer, £20 is £20 and I will more than make this up with more misprices that I find. Anyhow sorry for not relating my outcome sooner but my head was a bit mashed up with it for a couple of days. I know there are people on the thread waiting to hear my news and there are also others who have got the TS involved also. I expect these people to get the same result from their investigating officers. But, if anyone does hear different can you PM me please?

Do different Tescos have different prices?

At a big store I purchased Walkers Sensations, BOGOF £1.18 last night.

At lunch time, a Tesco metro SEL stated 3 for 3 quid on Sensations.

I agree with the "Touch of paranoia" but you are talking about 2 seperate camara systems, the standard CCTV and a seperate number plate high definition camara.

My local has these and similar to average speed camaras they take a picture when you enter and again when you leave. It then calculates the time you have spent and if over 2 hours automatically post out a fine.

Mind you Mr T can get these right either because mine was in the local papers because it had trouble with people visiting in the morning and then again in the evening. It was matching the morning arrival with the evening departure and fining for some 8 hour stay !!!:rotfl:

Please no one be threatened by this enough to stop what you are doing. These tactics are intimidation, but that can only succeed if you let it.

If you believe you are doing wrong which you are not, then the threat may feel real, but don't feel put out, instead just walk back in and get something else. Smiling all the time at them, if asked you forgot so and so, is that a problem?
