Tesco misprice discussion area part 14

Lets be honest with this how many people out of all of Tescos customers notice the value of the total prior to punching in their pin number. If you are going to go for a big item do it with the rest of your shopping, you then have a legitimate excuse for not noticing the individual item cost within so many. Until you go for a coffee and have chance to check your bill of course..

What the f...?
Gave a false name and all, but my car is registered correctly.
Do we now have to walk there or bike it (so we can't take large r&rs?)

If tesco put a policy in there store and they make a mistake and they have to refund and then kick off when it happens what is the point in the policy in the first place?

That is takeing it a bit to far

did you challenge him as to why he had just took your reg number?

i would have followed him back to the store and asked to speak to the manager.....and asked him to give me an explination why a security guard had followed me to my car and took the reg....and what they intend to do with it?

All I know is that I won't be R&Ring for a while.
And it's Christmas - BAH HUMBUG!

Great so what if I followed him, he knows my Car Reg.
No real difference to writing descriptions down.
All I say is watch out - still no proof it was my car and that the driver was me with the false name so should be Ok, but clearly records may be being kept.

Mt T - show us some goodwill. Please!

i park out of the way whenever i go for an r&r, round corner from entrance, behind trolley park etc, so that if i was followed i would see. best advice i can give it to walk straight past your car, cut through rows of cars and generally confuse them. stop for a fag, have a chat on the phone, help old lady load car etc, and make it obvious you know you are being followed ie wave at security guy. i would then confront them, take their name and go back into store if necessary, complaining of harassment and being stalked.!!!

bit OTT maybe but i challenge them to see which car i get into, plus you fight a losing battle if there is cctv in car park. then you may as well just give up!!

Go back to the store, and make a complaint of harrassment, and tell them that you will be taking up with head office!!!

yes... but it is what they do with the information that would worry me, and where they were gonna keep it.

Never mind theres always other stores

You should have taken of a picture of him on your camera phone, and then queried why he was taking your details down.

Another example of R&R's being intimated I reckon just to put you off the scent. I mean, what the hell can he/they do with that.

Just carry on regardless imo..
