Tesco misprice discussion area part 14

If they banned someone from all stores then I could imagine that person would still get their mates to go to a Tesco and find the misprices and then phone trading standards, if I remember correctly there are fines of like £2,000 for each misprice! I'm sure they'd rather a few r&rs!

Although you technically probably own about 1 toilet in the whole country, so you could use that whenever you wanted!

If you have a clubcard, as I have and have for years it never occured to me, what a valuable commodity my personal details could be to them. :doh:

Next time have a look through the money off vouchers they give you each month, see how they are tailored to your spending, and how they get the best out of you. The info they have is more informative than the census, from a retailers point of view, and a considerable asset for Tescos.:mad:

I never use my clubcard anymore or any storecard for that matter, its of very little benefit and nothing compared with how much I r&r.;)

Well I can assure you it does happen!

My ban came as a direct result of using the price check scanners before paying and getting R&Rs, I was told by the security guard that banned me that the system was not there to be abused and then told me to leave and not return!

I did return for a meeting with the store manager where I got my ban overturned, in the meeting the manager kept telling me they had seen me scanning items then R&Ring them, however, when I said the items I scanned were not the ones I bought he couldnt prove it (probably the CCTV didnt catch exactly what I scanned)

Just because it hasnt happened in your store doesnt mean it hasnt happened, there are quite a few others on here that have had the same treatment, it happened to frequent just the other day!
