If the item goes through at the item on the pack it means it has been calculated at the price per kilogram quoted on the pack....eg.

Price on pack £1.50 p/kg - 2kg pack goes through at price on pack = £3.00

SEL £1.40 p/kg - 2kg pack SHOULD go through at £2.80

so in the above example if the pack goes through at £3.00 you have been overcharged and would be entitled to R&R

There is a price/kg on the SEL & on the pack.

If the SEL /kg is lower than the pack /kg you have been misled & overcharged as you have not paid the /kg you expected to.

CS often try too see it exactly as your post ! But they are wrong.

Should be the other way around for an R&R. The SEL price should be lower and the pack price higher. That way, you are garaunteed to be charged the pack price, using the SEL as your arguement for an overcharge.

Just say that you thought that a discount would have come off the till but it didn't.

Ok Im going to take a copy of tony hawks back and get a refund. The receipt is marked overcharge / refund.

Just been into my local, it has got the sign which says "Buy xbox 360 console and any game save £20" Now the only consoles in stock are the ones with a Game PES6 and GOW. The normal consoles are not there. Refund refused point blank, manager came, "I know what your up to". "Yeah and me mate, I'm pointing out you have overcharged me yet again"

Just could not be bothered to argue anymore with him so just took my refund

just got back from tesco. champers was priced correctly.

they had:
xbox 360 core £194.74
xbox 360 premium £279.97
xbox 360 premium with PES6 £279.97
xbox 360 premium with WWE £299.97
xbox 360 premium with GOW £297.81

any of them misprices?

No they all look correct, unless it had the "buy an xbox 360 console and save £20" if so see my post above. If I had really wanted to push it I could have gone to HO etc and got this but I think they know me a bit too well!!!
