Tesco misprice discussion area part 14
Comments
-
I am dying to break my r&r virginity but both public scanners have been out of order for about 2 weeks now at my local Tesco's
and I dont think they are in any hurry to fix em.
How else can I get prices of things without having to go to a checkout and ask them to scan each item cos I cannot be arsed with that!
Cheers,

same with two out of four stores in my area. I ask at the pharmacy counter or rely on info gathered from stores that i do know what they scan at0

thanks
I would say that with the reaction the last couple of posts regarding this got, then HO have been busy since this morning and have come up with the 'legal' get out clause about the OOD sel being okay to display. I'd go so far to say that if you now get a refund in store then you will be lucky but if HO are involved in any way then you will not get any joy. That is why I am calling my contact at TS tomorrow morning just to be clear.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -

Like the Aug/Sep Xbox freebie you stand a much higher chance of success by ignoring the manglers refusals and keeping the xbox , then take it up with HO CS.
My first Xbox package was refused R&R by HO CS as well, but after a nice holiday i again tried HO CS and had a lovely conversation with KK - Result full R&R !
But lots of people gave in and just took it back for a refund. If you bag one make sure you get proof of the sel and just bide your time. I really don't see how they can wriggle out of this one0 -
isnt there a law about two prices on the same product?0

X BOX 360 £1
expires 12/12/2005
THIS IS ILLEGAL!!!0 -
this had two point of sells one in big numbers and a normal sel there must be a law about offering two prices0

Definate case for Trading standards, if you dont get any joy from HO then TS should be your next port of call, remember if you have still got your Xbox you have the 28 days to take it back so there is no real rush, speak to TS and see what they say then go back to HO, I'm almost positive TS will back you up on this one, Out of Date SELs are Tescos problem, not the customers, its misleading for them to leave them up, expiry date or not and thats how TS would look at it.
On a seperate note, just spoke to the OH, no Xboxes at the first store, but she has got me a copy of Tony Hawks!
Good girl aint she? :TMissing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0
