The best you can do is to give it a try. A lot of people on here seem to be sucessfull. Its down to how the store management see it,fingers crossed you are going to be lucky.0 -

Gah!
How many times????
If they are displaying two prices for the same item, they MUST charge the lower one by law. Out of date or otherwise!
You still here?
Get a copy of Tony hawks with it too! lolMissing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

New Prices valid from today 27/11

Premium Pack £279.97
Both labels for core still on display in one of my locals. Picked up core system with very little fuss, full RnR. :j
Thank you so much for this...I actually got one (Core pack).
They didn't want to do an r&r and one of them even had the gall to claim "Not on electricals" while standing in front of the Tesco Promoses board. Anyway they went out back for about 10 minutes then returned my cash....and didn't mark the receipt. So I went to my local tesco and swapped it out for the premium pack with PES6 (my favourite game) for £85. Result.
Been after an affordable 360 for a long time and now I have my Christmas pressie sorted - just got to convince my wife she wants to spend £85 on a games console for me.
Oh yes, quick warning to everyone. They seem to have replaced the premium packs with the "premium+games" pack for the same price so if you try and get an overcharge they will simply say it's a different pack so no go. Be careful.0 -
While we was out on Saturday we went into a farmshop, in there they had Cauliflowers and Cabbages both 4 for £1 and they were massive!
Went in the Tescos not half a mile down the road and the Cauliflowers were 99p each! and looked like crap, all sweaty in their shrink wrap!
I will never buy fruit or Veg from Tescos again after seeing that!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Is this a cut and dry R&R case on the Xbox?
And do you think Ginjim should be putting his shoes and coat on now instead of posting on here?
Flatery will get you everywhere PC.
1. Yes (makes a change) - damn good spot by the OP.
2. Depends how bad they want it - he's already in the Tesco radar IIRC - may have an uphill stuggle.

(if you call a £40 game "small" that is)
:rotfl:
i feel as if everyone has got one up on me
Mind at dinner time i did take the premium + pes6 to checkout only to discover it scanned at £297.97, same price as just the premium  , sadly my credit card was in the car. Hit 3 other stores and as i mentioned got a few packs of chicken fillets, but left 10 on the shelf
I was blinded by the xbox, and still am, plans have changed as we speak, visiting 3 stores tonight, fingers crossed :idea: £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006Make mine a Golden £143.46

I managed to find a core system in a store with the old hexagonal display. When I complained that I had been overcharged the store would not budge.
The store are sticking to the fact that there was an expiry date marked on the display, albeit in much smaller writing than the price. Anyone have any tips regarding the legality or otherwise of leaving expired offers out on display? Head office have spoken to their legal team who have stated that as long as the expiry date is marked on the poster they are not obliged to remove it from display.

I'm pretty sure thats rubbish, for example, whats to stop them putting a massive sign above their front doors saying "All items 50p" then in tiny writing "offer expires 15/11/1984"
Trading standards! Thats what!
Call HO again, you will probably speak to another person who will give you the answer you want!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0
