The store are sticking to the fact that there was an expiry date marked on the display, albeit in much smaller writing than the price. Anyone have any tips regarding the legality or otherwise of leaving expired offers out on display? Head office have spoken to their legal team who have stated that as long as the expiry date is marked on the poster they are not obliged to remove it from display.

Get a copy of Tony hawks with it too! lol
Cheers plushchris, must have missed that. Just popped to the local Mr T and only one copy on the shelf @ £37.97
Now there are no copies
Lovely cs girl explained policy and i'd get it for free too, then gave me my receipt unmarked
Is it established yet wether you can refund another game, say one of the splinter cells on this receipt. The receipt is for xbox game £39.96 and that's the current price of splinter cell i think0 -
Visited an EXTRA, they had the Core 360 for 184.xx on the SEL, also Tony Hawks 8 for 360 SEL 37.xx
Left them for a few friends who are R&R virgins. However, both decided that the risk outweighed the reward and let them go!
Visited another non extra store and Tony Hawks 8 SEL 37.xx again. Phoned my mate and told him about it. Easy R&R for him, CS tried the 2 quid refund, and also stated you need to actually leave the store to get an R&R!? Friend pointed out the blue board bible, manager came, stated its your lucky day, full R&R, receipt unmarked, so he's going for the golden R&R tomorrow!
Will probably pay the extra a visit again tomorrow myself0 -
Plushchris wrote:While we was out on Saturday we went into a farmshop, in there they had Cauliflowers and Cabbages both 4 for £1 and they were massive!
Went in the Tescos not half a mile down the road and the Cauliflowers were 99p each! and looked like crap, all sweaty in their shrink wrap!
I will never buy fruit or Veg from Tescos again after seeing that!
I buy my fruit/veg from the independant fruit and veg shop next to my local Mr T's - fantastic value, prices and quality! Even Farmfoods sell their regular spuds for 60p a bag and I have never had a bad one yet. You can see why they make billions of pounds profit. But if I can claim some of it back by way of misprices, then I shouldn't really complain.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -
