What do you feed your dog?

Most supermarket brands and supermarket found dog food (including pet stores) are rubbish.
That is why lots of us buy dog/cat food online, not in the shops....
I have not seen Orihjen in a shop to be honest, always order nline0 -
having a look at perhaps Chappie wet food and James wellbeloved/arden grange or burns dry food..
does this seam to be an acceptable mix ?
as the shih tzu is still a puppy she is still on the puppy food.
Will it be ok to feed both the lab and shih tzu the chappie/dry mix ? (obviously in different amounts)0 -
There are a few places you can buy Orijen in shops. They are listed on their website.
Our Westie has always been a really bad eater........to the point of not eating for days. But he loved Orijen and it's a good food. Unfortunately it didn't love him and it gave him a bad stomach.
Since then we've switched to Taste of The Wild.....it's another grain free food and is fantastic value as well. Available at https://www.zooplus.co.uk0 -

Raw feeder here, but in an emergency Orijen or Acana, which I keep on hand for days I don't get to the butchers -- bad mommy!
Had a wee pup with suspected EPI so did lots and lots of research and as has been mentioned earlier, it would seem that most dogs have an aversion to grain, so before switching to totally raw, I made sure to buy grain free foods. The difference immediately was amazing - I suppose less c**p in, less c**p out, so to speak!
Try this site for a mid priced selection of hypoallergenic foods, and now even a totally grain free variety:

Excellent customer service and quick delivery.
Just as a rough guide to quality, when buying complete foods, I was always told that 2 out of the first 3 ingredients should be a good protein source (not derivatives or by-products).

I feed Superbowl from Feedmark to the B.C.
She looks fine on it and I'm always complimented on her coat.0 -
We feed ours BARF, I'd definitely recommend it if you've got freezer space and the time and will to do it. Making vegetable mush for them is time consuming but we love our dogs so want the best for them.
We use kibble for rescue dogs we're fostering though, usually James Wellbeloved.Trev. Having an out-of-money experience!
