What do you feed your dog?

I'm considering changing my Dogs food - currently she's on Wagg but I don't really like it as it seems high in protein. She has a bit of a delicate stomach but will eat anything.......
I want to continue feeding a dry dog food, so was just wondering what you fellow MSE'rs feed your animals, and what would you recommend?
P.S She's a three year old active labrador!
Thanks

I highly recommend Burns Pet Nutrition, you wont believe the difference in your dog. It is not as cheap as Wag but they only have a very little per day as it is pure nutrition with no added rubbish. I used to run a kennels and fed this to all the dogs and the owners couldnt believe how good thier dogs looked.0

Thanks for that reply.....
I'm absolutely fine with spending more on her food - I'll give that a go.
Am I right in thinking that lower protein levels in dry dog food are better - or did I dream that?0 -
Chudleys Sensitive, great for my boys dodgy stomach so the girl gets it too.
Although one of them has decided to add some healthy fats to their diet by nicking an almost full tub of Olivio spread today.... the culprit should be easily identified over the course of the next few poosAlways try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -
I used to feed James Wellbeloved but after having one or two problems have moved both mine onto Burns. Costs 72p per day each. They are both thriving on it.0

Used to feed Burns, was good for long time then Zara's fur became a bit dull.
Changed to Orijen - been feeding Orijen for about a year now I think.0 -
Skinners Field & Trial hypo-allergenic ones (duck or salmon & rice) is good for the price or fish4dogs is also good for sensitive types but is more expensive. When comparing you need to look at cost per day really rather than just bag price as the amount you need to feed can vary a lot making some pricey foods more reasonable.0

I used to feed my last dog james wellbeloved and she was around 16 when she had to be pts
I had 1/2 a bag left so my new doggie eats it and her coat has been lovely and shiney (she was a bit raggy when we got her from the rescue)

Another one for James Welbeloved, my 18mnth old black lab loves it and has a lovely shiny coat and seems to do really well on it.
Id check your local small pet shops for prices too, as I found out that my local was over £10 a bag cheaper than Pets at Home and beat all online prices too.0 -
I'm another burnser, mixed with nature diet, nature menu or raw.
FWIW, i suspect your dogs sensitivity probs are more likely to be from the carboydrate element of the WAGG. If it were my dog, i woud move them to a rice or vegetable based carb, it's much easier digested. Don't stress over protien in the diet, look more at the quality of the protien, derivatives aren;t the best. I also thing dogs with sensitivities should avoid foods with brewers yeast and beet added to them.
There's a fair few worth looking at, Burns, JWB, Arden grange, some of tyhe skinners etc, this bridges a broad price spectrum from medium priced to premium. You get out what you put in to your dog as far as quality goes0
