For some reason I thought you were younger.... a compliment of course.
Hi Beachie! Interesting you say that because no one actually believes my age in real life either. I am a bit behind my years but I don't mindDebt Bust LBM 01/01/2013 - [STRIKE]£11,115.28[/STRIKE] £10,593.81

32 love and please dont tell me that I'll want all that malarkey when I get older. Nice/easy/comforable...zzzzzz. Sorry I nodded off there!!!
Less stressful in what way? Yes it would be lovely if someone gave me half the rent every month but my freedom and fun are priceless. Not knocking it, if it suits someone then fine but it's not for everyone and I hate the way it's always assumed that it is!
OK come back in 10 years and tell me that Souky! I felt EXACTLY like you do at 32, and I did at 33 even, 34,35, 36 and 37!Debt Bust LBM 01/01/2013 - [STRIKE]£11,115.28[/STRIKE] £10,593.81

It was another 2 years from that point till my LB moment!

I totally get that you want this to be over Lucy but dont wish your life away for it, just work at it and you'll get there!
Totally get the no backpack thing. I have a luggage tag that says 'I love not camping' as I dont do that either.
Being a bit tongue in cheek back there Lucy but yes I am happy and it's all about mindset X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Thanks Souk and I won't wish my life away or the days/weeks/months to get past the debt.
I read in other topics how people reach their final DF day and I just feel soooooooo envious! I can't wait for that to be me!

Lucy1010, not everyone reaches their final DF day, the way they wish to, so i would'nt waste too much time feeling too envious.
Grab your life whilst you can, and i hope all goes well for you. xx :kisses3:Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Married people, please tell me what you feel like? Does being married make it easier and nicer financially and otherwise ???
nope! that is the short answer. Unless you are both earning a good income and live within your means, and never got into debt before you met, and don't after you meet, then it is not easier, and nicer financially.0
