Well up until recently it had been going on fixing up our house when we bought it and paying a little bit of debt back. But more recently I have been saving almost all of it.

There are a couple of things which I would like to do over the next 6 months though, get some new clothes as my current ones are looking pretty shoddy, sort out our garden and just start saying yes to doing things with friends a bit more.
  • After all "fixed" bills, including overpaying on our mortgage by £120 a month we are left with £1150. From this we:
    • Put £360 aside for food and petrol
    • Take £80 each for personal use
    • Save £65 towards a holiday fund
The remainder goes on entertaining, and odd things like purchases for the house etc

I know we're very fortunate to be in a stable position financially and do sometimes think we take for granted how lucky we are sometimes.

Generally between £30-£70 per week. Usually around £40. That covers travel, food. I dont know what a social life is and I havent done any "me" shopping since August last year (apart from work shoes/trousers). Hoping this will change at the end of october!!
