Hoovered the family room and living room carpets and decluttered.
Living room not been done since Xmas Eve and had to pick off the fibres from DS's dressing gown from the carpet by hand as the hoover wouldn't pick them up. Do I get extra brownie points for emptying the hoover and for pulling off all the threads, bits of wool etc caught round the brush roller?
5 minutes after I had finished the hoovering, the kids saw all the spare space and proceded to cover it with lego, power rangers etc etc
Wondering why I bothered at the moment!
I know exactly what you mean, but in my case its DH that fills the nice clean spaces, I did suggest today that perhaps the chain saw spare parts could live in the shed with the chain saw, rather than the middle of the kitchen floor, I had to buy a shed so that he would stop leaving the chain saw in the middle of the kitchen floor, the chain saw oil is still just inside the front door though I have asked if it could go live with the rest of the chain saw bits:(Sue
