    Where has today gone?

    • Paperwork
      • [STRIKE]Print out asda vouchers & find matching receipts[/STRIKE]
    • Computer
      • [STRIKE]Asda vouchers[/STRIKE]
      • Find supplier of Henry bags & order some
      • Email vistaprint about incorrect order
    • Avon
      • Sort out vistaprint deliveries
      • Set up folder for paperwork
      • Sort out paper orders & write up cards to put through doors
      • Find tissue/bag for 'free gift'
    • Housework
      • Vacuum stairs & through downstairs
      • Wash up until its ALL clear - half done. At least the pans are now all done.
      • Ironing
        • DD uniforms (all!)
        • My work clothes
        • Other items x 5 each
      • Laundry - 1 load done, lost count of how many to go :rotfl:
      • Change tablecloths
    • Post school jobs
      • School stuff ready (uniform & bag for both of us) - DD is as done as she can be...as for me :o:o:o
      • Violin practice for DD - out at Matalan so long she'll have to do extra tomorrow instead.
    Monday ~ Living/Family/Reception room
    Level One
    Declutter and vacuum floor!
Wipe sticky grubby marks from sofas
    Level Two
Wipe sticky grubby marks from walls and paintwork
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move..
Dust and deweb light fittings, picture rails and other fluffy places!!
    Level Three
Polish any glass.. screens, pictures, ornaments mirrors etc

    Extras
    1. Vacuum sofas and wipe off sticky marks!
    2. Binbag dance
I took DD to Matalan and we spent nearly 2 hours walking there, looking around, trying things on, and having a good look through the sales racks ;) She spent £50 but everything except 1 cardigan is from the sales racks and should have come to £90 but even more importantly she's sorted for the Christening :rotfl:I'm happy with that considering she's in age 12-13 clothing so its not exactly cheap to buy that size anyways :) I also need to remember to take back some jeans we bought from Primark - they were 12-13 and wouldn't fasten  So there's £18 to get back which covers the jeans, boots & a muppets t-shirt from Matalan ;)

Now I just need to do the rest of the jobs that I was supposed to do today within an hour so ironing can be reduced to what we need for tomorrow :p I will do more tomorrow, but I need a proper "scrub clean" bath instead of a "lay back and enjoy" bath, might even turn it into a mini pamper session ;)

    Laters...
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • There is that solution....but we're having dressing rooms worked into the house in the refurb here....a little one for him, a bigger one for me. :)
:rotfl:Now why didn't I think of that solution!!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Is a microwave a small appliance? (Mine is built in and feels like as much work to clean as the oven.)
What would have a filter that would need cleaning? Can't think of anything...
Thanks to anyone with the time to help me out!

    Evening,

I'm in - better late than never....
Yesterday just became silly. Loads of stuff decluttered from loft, but it does take time. i think next weekend we might be able to start putting the insulation down?

Busy day at work, so haven't done much tonight. Cooked dinner, and a WM and TD. Just need to e-mail DM, then I have to go and wash the plastic tubs fromm our lunches today.

Not worth posting list cos nothings been done.

    Hugs to all :p

I might have a clear out of the freezer tomorrow as well. Will probably need the space in weeks to come. DH has had his notice period given to him & has until 10th May to find a job, luckily he has a 3 month notice. It's for the best as they are treating him horribly but I'm a SAHM, I'm now worried about finances. At least if I'm doing the housework I won't be spending money lol.

and a hoover - both mine have replaceable filters...

to clean a microwave put a slice of lemon in a microwaveable cup and nuke for 2/3 minutes AND LEAVE - even if it 'bangs'

after 5 minutes open, remove turntable etc and wipe out.

    repeat if necessary

    WARNING
water in a microwave can 'superheat' this means it is HOTTER than boiling point without actually boiling. If the water is then disturbed it will all boil and possibly explode out of the cup. And scald you. The lemon slice, however, should prevent it superheating.

this is science so you'll have to trust me!
