Yep... how soon can he get here?

Half of today's work done. Need to get the other half done so I'm prepared for tomorrow and can hopefully get shot of it. It's something I was asked to do at short notice, so not part of my planned writing and I'm now a little concerned about deadlines on my planned work for April, which needs to be written by mid-march... two full-length papers (one involving convincing a colleague I'm right, the other involving a lot of primary research that I haven't done yet) in two weeks :o I'm usually a bit further ahead of myself than this.

Late this week flyers, just caught up with thread phew.
Half term this week and determined not to let it get out of hand. Had to go into town to get phone mended, they said it would have to be sent off and take up to 2 weeks. I said i would try update it on pc. Took it to a mobile shop i know and they did it in 20 min :p. Glad i didn't listen to where i got it from. DD2 and DD3 were excited this tea time as we had a power cut, they thought it was great, i wasn't so impressed i was in middle of making tea. Luckily it came back on again after half an hour. Got to take DD3 to have eyes tested tomorrow afternoon and get new glasses, she broke her last pair as school last week.
Kept up with daily's and managed to keep things tidy. Decluttered brown hair and went blonde on Saturday with my birthday money, i love it i feel like me again. Didn't forget Diva on Friday i was having my eyelashes dyed at 1.10 so had a good 10 min to send loving thoughts to her friends and family. The Friday thread was very emotional, with some lovely poems and thoughts. (and yes it made me cry even though i didn't know Diva ).
Love, hugs, spoons and sticks to all, coping vibes to all those who don't do hugs, and healing prayers to those that need them.

Well, I started on the sitting room, decluttered loads, pulled out the sofa and disturbed a menagerie of spiders behind it BUT THEY ARE WELCOME IN MY HOME because all over the floor were white what looks like grains of rice but which are actually carpet moth crysalid things  I thought I'd got rid of every last one of the blighters last year but clearly not.

Still, without the flylady thread I wouldn't have discovered this which would mean that my carpet would have been eaten behind the sofa by the summer...

At least you have recognised this early enough and you are good at action planning, interim deadlines etc. You can get back on track. On a positive note, you have lots of stuff in the freezer for almost instant meals, so you can focus on your work.

You know where to come if you need someone to fling a mule or two. :D
  • hi, i'd like to jon please, recently moved out so dont have cluttered cupboards etc yet but still plenty of stuff to sort in boxes and still at parents! would like to get in good habits before bad ones start! lol

  • Hi

We went to the climbing place and had to book for us to go. So we went to get me some new shoes cos my shoes were to small for me so i got some new trainers. We had lunch at Mr M's then we went climbing.:D:D:D

Tonight Mum and I have been very very very very busy.

We have cleaned and defrosted the freezer - someone made an inventory.
We have emptied the cupboard under the sink and put every thing back tidy.
We have changed the ironing board cover and I cleaned the legs on it.
Mum changed the cooker hood filter.:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Today we posted 13 eBay sales:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

The adults are now too tired to do any more so we are going to bed soon:):)

Hope you have all had a nice day:D:D:D

  • groan! I've been avoiding the kitchen for a few days now...aaaand I didn't clean my oven last week, thinking I'd be moving next week and would clean it then. Got until the end of March now so best do it tomorrow. Pants! I suspect baby will spend a fair bit of time in his walker whizzing round about me tomorrow.
