:)Is it ok if I join in too?
I'm a bit of a western buff thats the reason for the name, bit confusing really as I am definitely a girl!! Some might say too old to be called a girl but oh well!!:D
My husband is sick today so he wont be getting too much done by the seems of it so I'm going to have to plan well this week. Hubbie has been struggling with housework and as I have been so ill for so long its a complete tip here:eek:
I'm feeling a bit more able than usual so will try to get things done with the help of the list (and the kids) If I do things slowly throughout the day I should be able to get some of the list done, I'm going to have to use the spoon method
This will also give me something to keep my mind off things, my Grandad died just over a week ago and his funeral is on Friday.:(
So here goes I'm in for the week, and thinking I should do it for longer as I can always delegate things when I'm too ill or weak.

Sorry I didn't get back after the HHC - but it turned into 3xHHC because DD suddenly decided that she would like her shower-room to look a bit more presentable... well actually, she would like to be able to go in there and not come out dirtier than when she went in.... :rotfl:. So I grabbed the opportunity to get help....
So we managed:
* Another loaf of bread (rosemary foccacia - her favourite - for tonight) - now rising
* A tray of lettuce seeds sown
* Her shower-room cleaned top-to-toe and everything chrome shiny & sparkly; towels changed; loo cleaned; bottles chucked; floor mopped; shower screen de-limescaled and shone; tiles shone; hair pulled out of the plughole....(she has waist-length hair, so this was gross....:o)
* Next load of washing sorted and loaded in the machine for later
* A celebratory cuppa! :T
I think that's all we are going to get done on the cleaning front today: we're making lamb and apricot stew for tonight and baking off the bread; and then lighting a fire and snuggling in. I'm going to knock off some paperwork if I can.
Sorry about the list today - it'll come in handy for later in the week....
Hugs to all, and good to see you posting, LW

Heehee.. my Dobby is 19 and doesn't pay board and did a stupid with his mobile bill.. so I beat him with the rolled up 29 page long bill and he is on pot washing until the DW is fixed.. and then I'll find him another heinous task lol.. he WILL find a flat!!! lol
my 15 year old did this with a phone bill, we thought it was only 1 month turned out to be 2 grand total of just under £300 on mobile phone bills, he is on permanant chicken coop cleaning until I say its paid off0 -
I'm in again this week:D
Was mad busy last week and just about managed to keep up with my dailies, dipping into a few lists here and there.
Probably won't be able to update the Fred this week.
Thanks to all at FCC. Hugs, spoons etc. to those who need / want them:heart2:0 -
Inspiration struck! DS won't eat Sunday Diner leftovers on a Monday (dunno why) and I have given up trying (DD will happily eat them) so, as I have some odd veg bits I have flung the meat and the leftover carrots in a pan along with some veg from the fridge and some stock and have made a soup! Is a doubly brilliant idea (IMHO) as they are teens and keep odd mealtimes during the hols - breakfast was scoffed so late no-one's ready for lunch yet..well I am but that doesn't count!

He didn't realise he was charged 15p for sending a message receipt... and had automatically clicked yes to send them.. I was really cross as I had told him the month before as there were a few on there.. it was just over £190.. which considering it has a 50 cap on it I am really angry with Orange about too and will be ringing them again.. he also has a £200 gas bill in his name from the house he doesn't live in any more. so we need to sort that out too.. and he has absolutely no income at all.. not a penny!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Welcome John Wayne - please tie your horse at the door
Finishing lunch then off to see if there's anything else needs doing, make pasties for tea, do some crochet and get ready for tomorrow :j:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0
