HH damage limitation done and I've calmed down a bit. I have a turkey and ham pie to make for tonight (and something with blackberries) and ribs are in the fridge for tomorrow. The rest of the meat was fortunately ok. All ice cream had to go in the bin, along with a few other bits and pieces - fortunately nothing expensive or treasured. There are a few leftovers which will need eating soon and I've got a lot of bread (brown sliced, pitta, baguette) - maybe our NN would like some, otherwise I will have to fling what we can't use. The DSs will have to have the two small pizzas for lunch.

Overall, it could have been much worse. I'm still mad with him though, because this is really just the final straw. Time for a talk about consideration and team spirit, I think.

Going to put batteries in DS2's kiddizoom now and get dressed. I don't dare post another HHC (something else will happen), so will have to join in with other people's.

Posting from work as usual, its freezing cold & snowing here at the moment. :eek: I see most of you are half-term, ours was last week. I am back in again this week, thanks to all at FCC as usual, I am hoping to have an easy week as on Saturday DH and I started at the top of the house and worked our way through every room, all doors and skirtings also done, DH even done the cooker hood filters!! :D:D My DH is away on Friday night for the weekend so I am hoping to get my bedroom painted and papered before he comes home on Sunday night with fresh & new bedding on as well

Our night on Saturday was great, good to have friends over and get a drink and some food and a good catch up!!!

Not much left on list for me to do, I also cleaned the suite with leather cleaner so just a quick once over today.

Our half term was last week but I see the majority

Oh dear Mrs Chaos.....what a complete b*mm*r! Can you not just freeze the bread down again? I've done that in the past - it's not like it's meat or anything....

Hi everyone! Got up and felt active, so I have already done a few jobs:
* Dry washing taken down and folded
* Wet washing hung up
* Dishwasher emptied and refilled
* Loaf of bread made

It's half-term, so progress is a little slower than usual....!

Am going to start at 11:15 with a HHC to do a few more daily jobs. Will try to get DD to give me a hand....

Anyone want to join me?

Hurrah, that's sitting rooms DONE inc the vacuuming I've been asking DH to do at weekends for ages. I feel so happy. Anything else today is extra, and that's a GREAT feeling!

Yep. I will....my first HHC. I'm going to get a head start on dining room maybe doing some extras in there (polishing etc) and maybe some utility room.

Hi all
Just dropping in to say hello and to say I'm in again this week - although I may be lurking more than posting due to it being half-term!

We're currently in a loft-junk reducing phase and I've got loads of things to sort though to either give to my sis (who's due to have a baby within the next 2 weeks), freecycle/charity, or send to the dump.

Today, I will be tackling the kitchen, which now needs to have space found for all the good glasses we have liberated from the loft! Plus it's an absolute mess at the moment. I've also got to finish emptying the fridgefreezer as it's being replaced on Friday. Well, it is over 12 years old!!

Hope everyone is OK? Sending hugs/spoons/kicks in the rear as necessary...

Dinner all prepared, meat in the oven, yorkie batter made, DW on, WM on, just need to wipe down units then im all done for the day. Kids can load dishwasher after dinner. Wont have time to catch up with the thread until I come home from work tonight.
