    Morning all.

Thank you FCC for the lists

I'm going to try to be in again this week...one week sometime in the future I will actually manage to stick at it for a week :o Even DD said I need to get back to my organised and tidy house again as she's noticed how frustrated I'm getting at not having a clean house. :o

Anyways I have my own list to get through before I start on the 'official' one so here goes....

    • Paperwork

Contemplating murder or at least ABH! DS1 went to the freezer last night for some ice cream and didn't close it properly. By the time I realised (10 min ago), the temperature had gone up to 5 degrees.

I'm now going to spend my HHC going through the contents, deciding what I can keep, what I need to cook/use today and what to throw out. May as well clean the drawers while I'm at it. This is NOT what I had planned to do. Sometimes I wonder why I bother planning.

Will be back later and hopefully I'll have calmed down. I've had about enough of him. He's just too thoughtless and selfish sometimes.

I'm having a great flying day. Because of chores utside being so low this morning (but they'll kill at the weekend) I got an early start and didn't come in shattered. The reception rooms are dusted, and pretty much done. I need to hoover and for once I'm feeling up to it. The house had an airing, quickly blew through the good air on this blustery day, and I found some Bounce sheets so stuff some in the non washable cats and dogs beds (where there is no chance they can get them) to help them smell fresher ...what idiot was I when I bought some non washable beds!

I have the sofa throws in the wash AND I got some of the kitchen done. My plan is to try and vacuum ALL of downstairs today.....which sounds easy but with a bad back its a bit of a bold ambition!

  • Oh Mrs Chaos my Man had exactly the same thing happen last week and he was furious too. Its a bleeding nightmare I know (Hugs).

Back from drs and mums.. stopped in at hers on the way back for a coffee and to drop my car in for dad to check my tyre pressures later. I can do it but he has a electric air thingimy bobski which is quite swish and whenever I use it I end up with flatter tyres than what I started with.
Walked back with mum and am now having another coffee.. have lit the fire though, put the heating on for an hour and wrapped up in a blanket.. am feeling all shivery and achy so have had a flu-plus too. I am getting through tissues like there is no tomorrow and my ear is really sore.. it feels like it is full of pressure and needs a really good pop but won't cause its all red and angry and infected.

(Yes, I am a real grumpy moo when I am poorly)..

Anyway I ought to do something as I was so positive about achieving the lists this morning. Not really sure where to start to be honest.. Ok.. sort out my sick note for dwp and work and hope postman comes so he can take those.. fetch in some coal for the fire.. take out the ashes.. messy jobs first i think.

    OK HHC Starting now.. xx

  • baby woke up so can't finish the HHC

    I did get through:

    Bathroom S&S
    WM loaded and on
    Dishes on drainer put away
Baby up, dressed and settled with a snack

I'll get the boxes down to the car to go to the tip then we're pretty much out for the day with a baby class and doing errands (baby grumpiness permitting of course!)
