  • OOo! I'm in! Failed last week, managed to clean the oven and then when I went to mop floors my mop fell apart...

...New week, new mop! And extra incentive that my sister is coming next week (and her house is always immaculate) as we're going on a road trip to catch up with loads of friends and rellies we've not seen for ages

So basic plan is level one and decluttering - think I probably need a skip for the decluttering :rotfl:

Off to load the DW and WM, S&S the kitchen and then get dressed

    Maybe a cuppa first...

    Monday ~ Living/Family/Reception room
    Level One
    Declutter and vacuum floor!
Wipe sticky grubby marks from sofas
    Level Two
Wipe sticky grubby marks from walls and paintwork
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move..
Dust and deweb light fittings, picture rails and other fluffy places!!
    Level Three
Clear and wipe and cupboards/sideboards in here
10 minute hotspot clearance...and don't just stuff it all in a drawer!
Polish any glass.. screens, pictures, ornaments mirrors etc
    Extras
    1. Wipe and water any plants
    2. Vacuum sofas and wipe off sticky marks!
    3. Sort through a drawer or cupboard of 'stuff'
    4. Binbag dance

    Morning all

Hugs and spoons to soappie, L-L, LW, toots, greenbee and anyone else who'd like some. to all newbies and flypeople who haven't been around for a bit.

The early start didn't really happen, but I must have needed the sleep. Have felt for a couple of days as if I'm coming down with something, but nothing so far.

Plan for today is another cuppa and breakfast, some HHCs and going out with DS2. Then school stuff/more HHCs.

I want to eat sensibly this week and have earlier nights than usual. I love being a night owl, but have got to the point where burning the candle at both ends is no longer an option. I'm too often too tired to work, which is something I can't afford at the moment.

Have a good day, everyone. x

I've let the rabbits out of their cage to have a run about, they've been fighting so I've had to seperate them  wish I'd done my research before merrily buying 2 little fluffies.....so....keeping an eye on them.

Done the TD and the WM is on with littleys stuff which I've had to go through cos I know what she's like when she tidies her room, new stuff was in there *rolls eyes* so only 25 million more to go, I put her stuff on the airer to dry cos I'm forever shrinking her stuff in the dryer.

Stripped and remade my bed :A mmmmmmmmm cleeeean sheeeeeeeeets

S&S'd the kitchen too :A and checked out iplayer, will fit in watching that sometime today. Checked online banking too. Oh and tidied my room, not that it needed much but I like 'tidy' :D

Oh no dancemum - I hope it turns up soon. Fingers crossed it's just gone on a long adventure. Our cat went missing for 3 days once and came back smelling of grass cuttings, so I'm guessing he had been in someone's shed with a lawnmower in it.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • dancemum - hope your cat is back soon!

In my HHC I cleaned one of my kitchen cupboards - out of date food flung (the bits we won't eat anyway) and gibble decluttered!

    Feeling very pleased with myself!
