Afternoon everyone
it's a miserable day here, have even got lights on now. Took dog out, very muddy don't if ds2 or dog was
more muddy. Managed to lie in till 8.30 this morning it was bliss.
Os today dw emptied this morning now refilled. Dh made Sunday lunch of roast beef. I still have to clean the kitchen, he is a good cook but makes such a mess. Still got some ironing to do. Will leave washing till the morning. Might sit & do a bit of my embroidery for craft club, it is my 1st attempt at embroidery and looks like a child has done it.
Redruby - ((hugs)) hope your dad starts to settle soon and that your mum has a good rest.
Bitsy - hope peace is resolved at your house, I can understand your frustration.

Kit77 I'm thinking of doing a sewing course too. Have to look into it properly asap as I keep forgetting to see what's around.
A college not too far from me is running an introduction to sewing course and a dress making course. I can get a £200 credit through ILS and each course is £99 so it wont cost be anything so no excuse really for me not too just got to get round to be booking it.
Been swimming and I sneaked into the hot tub while OH looked after the kids.
Went to see my wee granny, she has been knitting scarfs for the local church and my DD asked why I didn't knit the look of disgust in my Granny's face when she told me it was terrible at my age (33) not to know how to knit:rotfl:. She never understood why I never learnt even though she tried to teach me when I was younger. I blame it on me being left handed and her right handed.
OH is putting the shopping away as I type.

(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Wish I had time to do a sewing course - I can only make square things!!
Good day though the weekend seems to have gone far too fast. Had a good couple of hours walk this morning and had to jetwash everything on return - including the dog.
HM mushroom soup for lunch :j. Some chicken concoction for dinner - just put courgette, onion, mushroom, tinned toms and kidney beans in a casserole with chicken plus herbs and stock cube - see what happens. Plus sweet potato mash. Have made some savoury flapjacks too so interested to see how they turn out.
Just watching some stuff finish on eBay and most has sold.
Managed to get the washing machine out and wash/hoover underneath behind it this morning so feeling very virtuous. Currently in the middle of washing skirting boards. Think I need a rest soon!
Hugs to all that want or need them
